Cicada Mountain

Aria wanted to address to the driver's question, that a green haired Aunty told them to run, when Emilié held him by the arm, stopping him.

Aria turned back to Emilié to ask him what was wrong, when she disturbed him by chiming in between them, answering the driver before Aria did.

At first she wanted to ignore the driver, since he got nothing to do with her, however with the short interaction with Aria, where he said he was here to catch 'bad guys', Emilié eyed him from her periphery, noticing the big and tuned build and those thick calluses on his hand, who he waved around to gesture with while talking.

So she could deduce him being one of her father's, Sasha's man, since his hand was just like the driver filled with thick calluses and giving her the feeling of an unmoveable boulder; just clumsy looking.

Meaning, those 'bad guys' they speak about must be Emil and Sera who took her. And Sera vanishing in thin air with no trace left, meant her taking precaution and went to hiding before those mens came out searching.

Emilié's brain worked fast. Sera has gone without notice and left nothing behind... How many people are there? Is Sasha here too? Where are the other adults in the house, Jane and Emil? Are they fine?

And what is with her own safety? Would this mister in front of Emilié even recognize her when he sees her face? Or would he buy her new camouflage? Her heart was tense. Will this go well...?

Holding Aria back, Emilié stood up from the lawn, patting away the sticking blades of grass.

"We were just playing around mister. To see which of us has the best stamina." Emilié raised her head to face the driver head-on, her voice sounded rustic like an old violin being played the wrong way, pitching in some high notes of a child's.

"Oh... that's not good. Running for long under the hot sun." The driver was stunned out of sorts, that voice.... did not sound healthy.

"Mister is right, we should have not." Emilié agreed accordingly to please.

"Good, good"

The driver smiled heartfully, flashing a row of white teeth, contrasting to his dark beard, like a black dot on a paper just turning the konzept around.

Seeing this young lad taking his advice, he felt good. But standing in the heat he frowned. "I must say, the some miles of difference between K City and the Cicada mountain is really big. It's december, so it is freezing could there, but here you're burning to a roast duck!"

Hearing the grizzly driver complain, Aria could not hold back a chuckle and explained him with his crispy voice, "Ha ha, uncle must know that this place is not called summerhouse for no reason. The summerhouse is on the mountain high up, so the sun is closer to us than in K City, that is why it's warmer."

Aria flushed with a proudness, having the impression his explanation was on point, and praised himself inwardly. 'Man am I good!"

Yet the explanation was that of a child's and had no substantiell ground to explain the major differences between those two places. Anyone could shout out what Aria said with a little bit of observation.

Of course, when a child finds out about it, he must be very excited, exploring and deducing facts and showing of his wisdom.

That could be at least seen as Aria wanting to understand things around him, and not take them as it is.

The honest driver uncle, did not bust Aria's pride and praised him sincerely, "This young lad is very smart.", given the fact that the driver already knew the reason.

His words a while ago was just empty complaining, he had not expected Aria to explain him the reason.

The geographical location between those places lays in two different climate zones; one is in a tropical wet and humid region where it can reach up to 18°C, and the other is on a humid subtropical region where the winter can be cold or mild, per se.

And the differences lays not only there, K City is situated on flat land, a bit sunken in even, with a wider distance to the sun than the summerhouse, which lies on a towering mountain and bordering a tropical forest; contrary to K City.

That is also the forest where Sasha and Emil lost their brothers and the forest where Emilié and Aria will be trained in, what is known as a dangerous place.

Not knowing his future fate, Aria just giggled in response of the praise, lost in his bubble.
