face to face with herself

Adriana ran to hug her mum as she flew her arms around her hugging her tight but was left shocked when she saw the woman push her away with force causing her to fall flat on the floor to have raise her face up to look at her own mum who had pushed her away.

"Mum!" Adriana called out as she saw the disgusted look on the woman's face. "Just who do you think you are? Coming in here and causing such an absurd scene. You even had the nerve to hug me with that filthy body of yours!" Adriana heard her mum curse her and by now she could feel the tears that welled up in her eye. This was her own mother! If there was anything else she feared to lose was her mum.

"Mum, where are you?" Adriana heard the sudden voice from where she was and as the girl came into view she went into full shock looking at the person before her whose head slowly turned to look at her and their eyes met.

Vanessa was shocked for a second but decided to act oblivious to the current situation as she now turned to Rachel looking slightly confused. "Who is she mum?" She asked and saw the tired look on the woman's face.

"Just another rat coming in here to cause a scene" Adriana could vividly hear her mum say and she couldn't stop the tears that threatened to come anymore as it now flowed down her cheeks. She was completely confused as to what was going on right now. Who was this girl that had now possessed her body and why she was in this useless body.

She knew her mum did not recognize her because of who she appeared to be right now but it hurt her more than anything could. Adriana stood up on her feet cleaning her tears as she now faced the girl who refused to meet her eyes. Her eyes sized the cloth in which she wore to have her scoff. The witch could not even combine clothes correctly. She looked at the girl's face and noticed some dark spots on her face which made her body itch. She couldn't even take care of the skin right.

"Can I have a word with you…. please"Adriana said as politely as she could ever be in her entire life knowing if she decided to cause an uproar here and call out the girl no one would believe her and only make them think she was acting repulsively as she gave the girl her best smile.

Vanessa looked wary of the girl that was now in her body as she went ahead to grab her mum's arm holding it tight. "Am not going anywhere with you.leave now you intruder….." Adriana heard the girl speak and it almost made her cough. Did her mum not really notice any indifference in her. There was no way she was ever like this!

"I am sorry Rachel but I have something important to say to your...daughter please"Adriana hesitated a little before saying the last part as it took all the resistance in her to let it out as she needed answers. She wanted to know what the f*** was going on.

"Mum please send her away, I don't want to see her," Vanessa complained, wanting the girl to leave. She was already enjoying the comfort in here and she didn't want it to come to an end. She finally got the life she had always wanted. A caring mother,a comfortable life and best of all, she was free from her terminal illness. She had been ill all her life and now, she was finally free from it, as greedy as she sounded she knew anyone in her position would do the same.

Adriana gritted her teeth in annoyance seeing as the girl wanted to get away from her but she wouldn't leave here without getting her answer. "Oh I understand now.you must think I look filthy right now right Adriana? Am sorry if I look unpleasant to you right now but Dawson was the one who sent me to you and I wouldn't like for your mother to hear about it" Adriana said carefully picking out her words and making sure she finally got her mum's attention as she saw Rachel turn alert at the name she had just mentioned.

"My! Are you perhaps also in my daughter's school?" Rachel asked as her earlier bored eyes had gotten lively. Adriana smiled inwardly knowing fully well how much her mother wanted her to be acquainted with the minister's son. She knew just the name would get her to agree to meet with the girl posing to be her.

"Yes Rachel but it seems your daughter doesn't want to see me right now because of the way I look presently"Adriana said as if hurt by Vanessa's words and she saw Rachel frown . "Nonsense! I will give the two of you space now" Rachel said, offering the girl a smile as she turned and returned back inside and as soon as her mother was out of sight, Adriana grabbed the girl's arm glaring hard at her.

"What did you do to my body?"Adriana questioned the girl who winced in pain and thankfully no one was present, not even the guard Adriana had met with at the gate as he seemed to have gone somewhere.

"What are you doing leave me alone"Vanessa said trying to get the girl's hand off but she was surprisingly really strong or maybe it was her who was weak but Adriana only knew it was because she was burning with anger right now, she knew the girl's body she was in was really weak.

"It was you, wasn't it? You fu***** Swapped out bodies. I know were just jealous of me and decided to go to this extreme? That is honestly the most......."Adriana was saying but Vanessa was quick to cut her short as she put on a perplexed look.

"I don't know what you are talking about.i am honestly as confused as you are" Vanessa said trying to sound believable. Who knew this girl was this crazy and would come here to confront her in this way. Adriana stared at Vanessa not knowing if she should believe her or not. It wasn't like she also knew what was happening too.

She wanted to retort back but noticing the gate entrance door opening, she quickly left the girl's arm as the security man entered while his eyes were solely on the girl as if eye stalking her making Adriana roll her eyes. "Don't think you can get away from me so easily I won't leave here without an answer" Adriana assured the girl and she saw Vanessa frown.

"What do you want from me? I don't know anything, '' Vanessa said through gritted teeth. She should have known the girl would be too tough to handle but she wasn't going to let her steal her joy at last from her. She deserved it!!

"Tell that to who cares," scoffed Adriana, already getting impatient. She didn't like it as she felt like an outsider in her own house. She looked around her and noticed the guard's eyes were still very much on her and if she wanted to talk to the girl she would need to speak with her softly but knew the girl in front of her didn't need gentle words. She had better start talking because the last thing she could remember was running low with a fever some nights ago and when she had slept off she had woken up to find herself in another person's body. 

"Follow me" Adriana abruptly said as she turned to leave but seeing as the girl didn't move an inch from where she stood her head turned to sharply glare at her. " Don't make me repeat myself" saying this, Vanessa moved her feets at once as she followed her out of the Gates even though she didn't want to.

"Where are we going?" Vanessa asked cautiously, looking at the girl ready to defend herself if she were to try anything. "Call a bolt" Adriana replied and she saw Vanessa tilt her head at her to have her look back at her with an irritated look.

"Are you really that dumb? Bring your phone out"
