The Preparation

Jin Jung Pov

Nonna is still unconscious for almost 2 days and we are so worried, I even want to piggy back ride my Nonna and admitted her in hospital, we don't have parents anymore and only their big sister left, standing as their only guardian, looking at the money in my hands which only compose of 50 thousand won, 3 penny and candy, clinching my hand I walk straight to the medicine store.

' hmm...maybe I should also buy some food too, but his short on money..haist..'

"argh...." and ruffled my messy hair, paying for the things I bought such as a pack of medicine, 3 instant noodles and some necessities " its 50 thousand won sir!?" the cashier said,

' damn she even know how much money I have in my pocket?'

I handed the money and take the things I buy, getting outside the store I once again open my palm and silently cry in my mind

' ha,ha, I think its only you 4 and me are together' the 3 penny and 1 lone candy silently lay in his big palm, and put it back inside his pocket.

Jin is now in the front door and open it, feeling tense, he then shout inside the house to declare his return from buying outside,

"Mio!! I'm back!!"

when he didn't hear any reply he removed his shoes first and run straight to where his Noona room his worried because when he see his sister having nightmares and she will cry while repeating calling his and Mio name, it pain him greatly looking at his Nonna suffer, he then hear sobbing inside and he abruptly open the door what he saw made him speechless and teared up a little his Nonna who was in coma for 2 days, now sitting and crying while she was hugging his sister Mio are.

" Nonna? your awake.."

Eunhee Jung Pov.

is she already too late? the thought of her Younger brother made her cry and regret not waking up in time to stop him, clutching the hem shirt of her Younger sister she sob, until she heard the familiar voices,

" Nonna? your awake..."

she blink her eyes to reduce the blurred vision caused by her tears and look to the direction where the owner of that voice standing, she became excited and tried to stand, Jin Then hurriedly stop her because she's still weak,

" Jin? its really you..." touching the cheeks of her little brother Eunhee then ask again,

" I thought you left from the school field trip already?"

" Nonna, I didnt.." he was cut by Mio,

" sniff....Unnie you didnt finish me when I was talking a while ago, I was supposed to tell you that Jin left to buy medicine a while ago...sniff"

Eunhee Jung upon hearing her sister explanation she couldnt tell , should she cry or laugh from her own silly and awkward behavior a while ago,

' damn...'

After that, they then go outside the room and was now sitting down around the table,

" Mio, I bought some food its in the plastic bag.."

Jin said, Eunhee upon hearing her brother say the word "FOOD" she then remember that she only have 2 days to prepare food, and right now her problem is that she doesn't have any money, but when she was in the apocalypse time, she discovered that below her parents bed, there was a wooden box and the things inside are 2 bank card and a stone.

" Mio, Jin? there's something I wanna tell you "

Mio and Jin hearing their sister said that in a serious manner they look at each other and noticing theirs nothing wrong they then became serious and listen,

" what is it Unnie?"

Mio asked,

" Yes you can tell us anything Nonna.." Jin seconded,

" alright but you two need to promise me that'll you won't tell this to anyone and trust me OK?" Eunhee Jung said to her siblings,

Mio&Jin " Ok, alright.." they both answer

" OK, you guys know that I was having a fever and was in coma for 2 days, I dream that the world would change, and 3 days from now we will then be experiencing an eclipse, then rain for 2 hours, people who was drenched, or touch the rain will get sick automatically and then turn to something hideous that eat human flesh.." Eunhee Jung narrated,

" Nonna!? is it zombie?"

Jin asked his sister, " Yes.." Eunhee answer and return to talk again,

" so, yes! thoes who was drenched or touch the rain turn to Zombie, and some of the people then possessed abilities such as the rare ones water, fire, ice, thunder, woods, telekinesis, healing, earth and some get super strength, invisibility, super speed..I was one of those people who was gifted enough to possessed two abilities which is the rare ice and fire, I leave in there for almost 11 years, I meet many people and fought many zombies..."

" Unnie? why do I feel like its not just a simple dream?.it feels like you've been there? " Mio said, Eunhee Jung just stay silent,

" Mio what are you talking about didnt you hear what Nonna said a while ago, that she dream it.." then look at his Noona,

" you guys trust me right?" Eunhee Jung ask, and her two siblings both nod their head, confirming their answers she smile a little,

"don't freak out OK, I wanna show you something" and then open both of her palm, on her right palm lay silently her ice ability and on the left palm lays her Fire ability, Eunhee Jung saw her brother and sister amaze expression, Jin even want to touch the fire but she then disperse it,

" woah...those are so cool.."Jin said with his sparkling eyes,

" so Unnie you mean that what you said will happen?.." Mio asked afraid,

" Yes, and trust me OK..I'm here..."

" OK..Unnie..."

" Nonna, can we also have our own ability like yours? I want to have thunder ability..hehe"

Jin asked with his sparkling eyes looking at his big sister, that in the minute he will jump from the confirmation he was waiting to be heard,

" yes, you guys can also have ability in the future,"

Eunhee Jung smilingly answered, then a flicker of the past event of her little brother goes missing and the tragedy she sees when one of those people push her little sister to her death in the zombie to be a temporary shield for them to escape, she then shake it off and promise that the past wont repeat in this lifetime, she will get her revenge in the future.

" so, we need to prepare food, weapon and necessities in the house.."

Jin said that he became silly, excited that it will happen, he only saw zombie and powers in the movie and read in the books, and now it can be true his Nonna is the prof. she has two powers ,

" but where should we get money? to buy food I only have 3 penny and 1 candy here!?" Jin said and took the 4 things he have, and put it on the middle of the table,

Mio and Jin then look at their big sister, waiting for her to reply to them, because how can they prepare food if they dont have money?.

Eunhee Jung listening to them she feels relieved that they believe her and happy that they are will prepare, she then answer,

" there's still one thing I didnt tell you guys, mom and dad left some money in their bed, so lets go and check it.."

"what!!!?..really!!?" Mio&Jin shout,

"hahahaha...."

Eunhee just laugh looking at their reaction,

The three of them then go where their parents room is.

the first one who open the door is Jin and Mio, then Eunhee, " so where is it?"

Jin said flipping every corner, the curtain, cabinet, bedsheets, lamp, even inside the air conditioner feeling tired he collapsed on the floor in a star position,

" Unnie where should we find the money? Jin already flip every thing ?"

Mio said and point her finger to where Jin was laying.

" hahaha.." Eunhee laugh and move the bed, jin then abruptly sit up and look at his Nonna,

" oh yes I forgot in every movie they will hide precious things below the bed, haha.." Jin said scratch his own silliness, Eunhee Then retrieve a wooden box and open it, inside 2 bank card and a stone? laying silently inside just like in the past.

Jin and Mio took one each of the bank card and their eyes turn big and their mouth both turn in the shape of O just like a squid, Eunhee didnt know what is the use of the stone, because it looks ordinary, she just keep it inside her pocket and look at her siblings excited face.
