Chapter 2: Confused

Slowly regaining consciousness, Isaac tried to move around. Yet, he couldn't. Actually, he can't even feel his body at this moment. Though, it does feel pretty comfortable wherever he is right now.

'Where am I? Am I at the hospital? What's going on? I remember having a heart attack, and then… and then… then what?'

Isaac tried opening his eyes. Did he even have eyes? Everything around him was pitch black. He's getting worried but at the same time he feels really safe. His instincts tell him it's safe here.

'Did I die? So is this heaven or hell?'

Isaac is surrounded by darkness. Soon enough, he started counting the time. He had to admit, it was kind of scary. He has no idea where he is, and for some reason he can't speak either. He feels a little trapped, but that's only his brain and thoughts that feel this way. If this continues, Isaac knew he would slowly go crazy. Since nobody's mentality is strong enough to withstand this amount of loneliness.

'God? Can you hear me?? Or maybe I'm in a coma. This could possibly be one of those lucid dreams that happens once in a while. I need to calm down now, let's wait around and maybe something will happen.'

And so, eight hours passed by, counted by the one and only Isaac. It was getting on his nerves, so he tried to reassure himself.

'Hey, you know what? On the bright side… this is pretty peaceful. Think about it, I don't have any work to do at all and I get to think all alone in this place without distractions. But the thing I'm really curious about is what I am currently.' 

Two more days passed by. Isaac was about to die. He found out that he could sleep, or go unconscious, but in the past two days, he has been waking up to the same darkness. He couldn't open his eyes. Soon he's gonna fall apart. But coincidentally, at that time, he started hearing noises.

"!@#$%^&"

It sounded like a female. From above him? He was sure now that he's inside someone. Was it an alien?

"*&^%$^#@% %$#@& @#$%%*!" 

At this moment, Isaac could only come up with two solutions.

'Either I got eaten by some female monster in this dream or I got reincarnated like in many novels I read. New life? If that's the case, I'll be super excited. wait, if that's the case, I might be like an embryo or something.'

Unable to understand their language, Isaac wonders what language this was. Once again, he has so many questions. But for now, he feels sleepy again…

Eating and chatting with her husband, the beautiful lady with wavy red hair, freckles, brownish-black pupils, small nose, and peach colored lips, happily places one hand on her stomach and rubs it.

"Honey, I just remembered I have something to tell you. I've been meaning to tell you since a few days ago," Iza Hayes said, with a sudden serious look.

The handsome man on the other side was surprised with the sudden seriousness. 

"Oh? Alright, what is it, dear?" Brutus Hayes said, still quite confused about what's going on.

"Soo, I was washing the clothes and drying them. At that time, I realized my mana was unstable. So I inspected my body…" She said, clearly trying to hint at something.

Too bad, the dense Brutus didn't understand, "Did you get sick, dear? Let's go to the priest right now!"

"No, you got it all wrong. I'm pregnant! Again!" she exclaimed while blushing a little, waiting for his reaction.

Silence commence…

"Whaaat… wait, are you serious?" Brutus was shocked and soon started experiencing joy as well.

Iza nodded.

A week passed by.

Isaac could kinda feel himself now, though he has to concentrate a lot. It's to the point where he would feel his arms and legs for a few seconds before he gave out and started falling asleep. It was pretty interesting listening to whoever is outside talking gibberish for a whole week.

But currently Isaac is facing a dilemma. He had already accepted his new life, reincarnated life. However, he doesn't want to accept his new parents because of past memories. Ofcourse, it's not something you could just forget with a snap of your finger. 

Believe it or not, a part of Isaac secretly hoped that his new found parents would straight up abandon him, making him an orphan. On the contrary, the other side of him wanted his old parents back, or at least new parents that are just as kind. Yeah, those are some crazy thoughts.

Two months passed by.

Isaac had so much time to think, and so he finally accepted his new soon to be parents. That said, he will never forget his parents in his past life. He could really feel his body now, but he still can't quite move at all. Unlike before, Isaac was getting bigger and bigger. The space around him was shrinking as well.

'I still can't understand what they're saying. I could hear some types of patterns though. Hey, should I write a book about how it feels being born and stuff? But it probably wouldn't sound believable if I just say I slept most of the time.'

Isaac was determined to learn this new language, he was just surprised at the start that it wasn't a language he understood. This was because in his past life, he was basically fluent with every language in the world.

'I'm so ready to destroy the scientists out there when I get older. I wonder what happens if people found out what happens after death, the whole world would probably be in chaos.'

And so, six more months passed by.
