Chapter 10: Orc forest

Asher believes if he misses this quest, it will be a great loss because it gives a probably quite a lot and can help him to level up quickly.

"Ash, I think we can accept this quest." Chronos offers Asher some advice. "The location is also in the same direction as our main quest, so how about it?"

Asher nods his head and they decide to take the quest.

"Asher, Chronos we the fairies of Altaria village owe you a great debt of gratitude." The fairy chief smiled broadly.

The fairy chief says those other elves' whereabouts are probably in an orc forest full of thick fog.

"You must be careful, it is believed the orcs are terrifying and much stronger than the monsters you have met before." The fairy chief warns Asher and Chronos.

Asher and Chronos nod their heads together and they decide to leave Altaria village towards the Orc forest. During the journey, Persea says the orcs are one of the savage creatures in this place. Some of these orcs have the same abilities as players and will not hesitate to kill anyone they see.

"Orcs live in groups, so they will attack their victims in groups."

Persea suddenly notices something beside them and takes the item.

'Persea gives you 1x potion'

"Wow Persea, that's a very helpful skill." Asher smiles as he accepts the item which Persea gives him. "Thank you, Persea."

"Heh? No problem." Persea smiled and her face instantly turned red. "Uh, come on we have to hurry."

During the journey, Persea tells us that the orc forest is one of the areas feared by the fairies because it is filled with bloodthirsty and greedy orcs.

"Going to the orc village for the fairies is like going to hell." Persea let out a long breath and furrowed her brows.

Asher rounds his eyes at the change in Persea's expression which feels very natural as if he is talking to a human.

"Chronos, the visuals of this game leave me speechless. This game is so cool!"

"Yes, Ash. Everyone here looks like a real person." Chronos nods his head quickly. "Just look at Persea's face, it's very human-like."

Persea turns around and looks at Asher and Chronos who suddenly stop on the road "Hey, is everything okay?" Persea raised her eyebrows. "Come on, we're almost there."

A few minutes later, Persea again spots an item and immediately flies and brings the item to Asher.

'Persea gives you 2x bombs'

"Great, we'll need this item."

After a while, they finally reach the orc forest and are immediately greeted with fog.

"Damn, how can we get into this fog." Chronos squints his eyes. "This fog is so thick, we cannot see anything.

Persea gives Chronos and Asher a kind of drink bottle filled with a strange liquid.

'Persea gives 2x bottles of venus water.'

[Venus water: River water from the venus forest that has been exposed to moonlight. Fairies use this water to see in dark or foggy places. This water is used by fairies for traveling (the effect of the liquid will decrease over time)]

"Venus water?" Asher furrows his brows. "Where do you get this item, Persea?"

The blue elf shakes her head quickly. "This item is made by the fairies themselves and is not for sale."

Asher and Chronos instantly drink the water and a few minutes later they can see clearly in the fog.

"Now everything is clear after drinking this water." Asher looks around. "Come on, now we go in and look for the fairies."

They walk on for a while, but there is no one there to be seen. There is just a gust of wind and a gathering of mist surrounding them. Suddenly Asher accidentally steps on something, causing him to stop walking.

"What's this?" Asher slowly lowers his body and squints his eyes. After a few seconds, he quickly moved away from the object. "Sh**! It's a piece of a skeleton."

"Asher, what does .... mean?"

Suddenly an arrow flashes in front of Chronos causing him to stop for a moment. Soon, blood flows down Chronos' face. He touches the wound and sees the blood at his fingertips.

"Holy Sh**! what is that? "Chronos' blood streams continue to flow and reach the crown of his head. "Come out now, you damn thing!" Chronos yells and gradually looks around.

Several arrows shot toward Chronos and he quickly slashes them down.

'Slash! Slash!'

"Ash, be careful I feel the enemy this time is a long-range type." Chronos uses his dash skill and runs straight to the source of the attack which turns out to be behind one of the trees. "Die, you a damn thing!"

Suddenly he could feel the poison inside his body starting to react and made Chronos' body instantly fall from holding the poison that is increasingly spreading.

"Ash, help!"

"Esuna!" Asher quickly cast his skill and dispel the effects of the poison Chronos receives.

"Laser light!"

Asher shoots white light toward the source of the attack and sees a large green monster with fangs falling to the ground.

Chronos, who sees an opportunity, immediately uses his dash skill and tries to attack the orc." Die, you damn orc!"

'Cling! Cling!"

Chronos' slash is successfully blocked by another orc using a sword and makes Chronos move back.

"Sh**! It turns out he's not alone."

"Cure!" Asher quickly refills Chronos' blood when the opportunity arises. " Chronos, we have to be careful!"

A few seconds later, the orc's footsteps sounded quite loud and revealed his face covered with fresh red liquid.

"Oh, sh**!" Asher froze and his body stiffed at seeing the form of the orc twice the size of his body.

Another arrow shot towards the frozen Asher, but lucky for him Chronos instantly breaks the arrow. "Ash! What are you doing?" Chronos pats Asher's face. "Hey, there's no time for daydreaming, now!"

Persea continues to analyze the opponent they are facing and soon the creature's information appears on Asher and Chronos' screen.

Orc warrior (Lv.9)

Hp: 9000/9000

Mana: 50/50

Element: none

Weakness: all magic attack

"Hey, you guys can swap enemies. Asher will fight the orc warrior and Chronos will fight the orc archer." Persea suggests looking at the status of each of the orcs.

The two of them immediately launch attacks at each orc. Chronos uses his dash skill toward the archer orc and dodges every arrow shooting toward him.

"Laser light!" Asher directs the bright light from his staff and shoots toward the orc warrior who runs toward Asher.

However, Asher's laser light is suddenly blocked by a large shield that appears suddenly. A few seconds later, another orc figure using a shield that looks to be made from a monster's head.

"Oh my, that's impossible."
