Velia Town

Location: Leefside Village, Slevia Kingdom

Al and his friends were ready to go with Serena and Aqua to their guild, The Dark Cats Guild.

"Grandpa, we're leaving," said Gray.

"Take care of yourself, Grandfather," Al continued Gray's words.

"Iris, please take good care of grandfather," Lia asked Iris to take good care of their grandfather when Lia and the others were not there.

"I hope you're not lonely because I'm not around," said Marc.

"I think they're just glad you left this orphanage," Leo said teasing Marc.

"Leo!" Mark was annoyed by what Leo said.

"I'm going to miss you after you left. I have considered you my grandchildren from childhood. Take care of yourself and don't cause trouble to the people there," said the grandfather.

"Of course, Grandpa. Then, we're leaving," Al and his friends started walking out of their orphanage, waving their hands.

"Bye, Grandpa! Iris!" Marc said goodbye.

"Bye! Be careful! Oh, yeah! Do not forget to send a letter to us!" shouted Iris.

"Sure!" replied Gray.

They all left Leefside village and headed for The Dark Cats Guild.

Location: Mt. Esval, Kingdom of Slevia

On their way, Serena and Aqua explain things about Adventurers.

"So, where is your guild? what is that in the capital?" asked Al.

"No, our Guild is in Rakham City. The place is not far from the capital. After passing the small town of Velia, we will get there," Serena replied.

"We will be in the Velia town for a day. We want to report our mission to the person who gave the quest," said Aqua.

"Quest?" asked Al.

"Yes, the Adventurer's mission is divided into two. The first is an official mission. This mission was given directly by The Seven Sage to the Guild to carry out. While the second is a side mission or it can be called a quest. This quest is given by residents. Usually, Adventurers take a quest to earn more money," Serena replied.

"So you're short on money?" Leo asked.

"Eh? It's not like that. Sometimes the villagers who give quests will give you something other than money," Serena replied.

"The person who gave this quest offered a cyclea plant in return," Aqua continued Serena's words.

"Cyclea? If I'm not mistaken, it's a fairly expensive medicinal plant," said Lia.

"So you guys are short on money, huh?" Leo said.

"Eh? I told you it's not like that. Aqua wants to use the plant for her potion," said Serena.

"Potion?" asked Gray.

"I am an Alchemist. I often mix magic potions for the guild," Aqua replied.

"Hey! See! I see a town ahead!" Marc pointed to a small town.

"That's Velia town. Our goal," Serena replied.

They then went to the small town.

Location: Velia Town, Kingdom of Slevia

Al and his friends arrived at a small town called Velia town. In this town, Serena and Aqua will report their previous quest to the person who gave the quest.

"This is the place of the person who gave us the quest," Serena pointed out a blacksmith.

"Isn't this a blacksmith?" asked Lia.

"Yup. The blacksmith's owner gave us the mission," Serena replied.

"You're back?" the blacksmith came out of his house.

"Yes. We want to report on our work," Aqua replied.

"So? Did you guys manage to find the mineral rock I wanted?" asked the blacksmith.

"Sorry, Mrs. Charter. We had a little trouble finding the stone. So… we couldn't find it," replied Serena who was a little disappointed because she failed the quest she was doing.

"Then, I can't give you that medicinal plant," said Mrs. Charter.

"Wait!" Gray walked in front of Mrs. Charter.

"What do you want, young man?" asked Mrs. Charter.

"With me working a day here, you will give the medicinal plant as wages?" Gray offered to work for Mrs. Carter for a day.

"Gray?!" Al was surprised by Gray's decision.

"Can you work as a blacksmith?" asked Mrs. Charter.

"I've always been interested in this job. This weapon is my artificial. Do you want to see it? " Gray showed his ax to Mrs. Charter.

Mrs. Carter looked closely at Gray's ax.

"How?" asked Gray.

"This ax is very bad," said Mrs. Charter.

Gray was a little disappointed to hear Mrs. Charter.

"But, I like rookies who want to work hard like you. I'm short on manpower to complete orders for tomorrow. Are you going to work tonight?" Mrs. Carter offers Gray a job.

"If you give the plant as a reward. I will work hard," Gray replied.

"Very nice. You are accepted. Besides, I don't need the plant," said Mrs. Charter.

"Great Gray!" said Al who was amazed at Gray.

"Thank you, Gray," Aqua thanked Gray for helping her get the medicinal plant for her potion.

"Come on, I'll show you where you work," said Mrs. Charter.

"Good. I'll be here until tomorrow. We will gather at the city gate tomorrow to go to Velia city," said Gray before he entered the blacksmith.

"What are we going to do until tomorrow?" asked Marc.

"I'll find a hotel for us to spend the night in this city," Aqua replied.

"I'm going out of the village," Leo replied.

"Where are you going?" asked Marc.

"Practice," Leo said before he left.

"I'm going to the tavern to find a little information regarding other quests. Do you want to come?" take Serena.

"Tavern?!" Tobin looked at Lia with great joy.

Lia, who knows Marc's wish after Serena takes them to a tavern, makes her look at Al and get an idea.

"I'm in," Lia also decided to go with Serena to the tavern.

"Good. I'm in too! Come on Al, we go there," Marc also decided to come and invite Al to go there.

"I-alright..." Al had no other choice but to go with them.

Al, Serena, Marc, and Lia parted ways with Aqua to go to a tavern in the city.

When they arrived at the tavern, Al and Serena sat at a table alone.

"Where did Marc and Lia go?" asked Serena.

*Jeng* *Jeng* *Jeng*

Someone starts playing guitar on stage.

"Marc?!" Serena is surprised to see Marc playing guitar on stage.

"Marc is a bard. He has played several musical instruments at the orphanage. Then…" Al's words stopped to see someone who would come out after the music was played.

A girl came up the stage. Once on the stage, she began to dance very gracefully to the music played by Marc.

"It's so elegant," said Serena, watching the girl's graceful dance.

"Lia likes dancing. Sometimes, she forces me to watch her dance," said Al who looked at Lia's graceful dance with a smile.

The day passed in Velia town quietly.
