Chapter 72
Two weeks passed after the vampires attacked the town, a day that was meant to be one of the best days turned out to leave a huge scar in her heart. A day she would never forget. Worse, things started to go back to normal; houses destroyed were being rebuilt, loved ones were mourned and buried, and there wasn't any single vampire sighted, which kept the people at ease.
Slowly, everyone moved on, keeping the event of that dreadful day in the back of their minds, but life went on as normal.
The only one who couldn't move on was Aurora. She found it hard to go on with her normal life; how could she when a part of her was forever taken? For a long time, she spent most of her time alone, lost in her thoughts, a prisoner in her own mind, afraid to even step outside of her room. She kept herself busy, reading books, her usual escape from the world.
