Arin 's POV*

* tap, tap, tap, *

I felt really uncomfortable, the ceremony was over anyway, So I walked away quickly and quietly. But why do people look like they're whispering about ME, probably because of the fact that i'm in the top 20 or maybe because of the way i behaved earlier. .....ahhh!!!.... i feel guilty!!!. But logically speaking its not my fault, its 'his' fault . By 'his' I was talking about C .

He abruptly woke me up at 4:00 am , even though he knows how cranky i can be , only to tell me to get ready to attend Cube's Entrance Ceremony.

A boring 3 hour long event , that does nothing but show off it's top students and its great history. Many big shot guild associates like 'Essence of the Strait' and 'Creator's Sacred Grace guild' often checked out the talented ones .Though contacting them before they graduate is illegal ,so they scout them 3 years later, when they graduate. I remember hajin mentioning this because he said that, Yun Seung-Ah's face was based on his first crush or something.

Either way, I didn't want to go, but I had no other choice ,since I was told I would be expelled if I didn't attend, now that i think about it, isn't this the exact same thing that hajin was told. Not that i care , All i need to do is - go there , watch the event, and come back quietly, problem solved right..... WRONG!!! . The stupid toy placed me in the top 20!!!! . I mean, skill wise it's probably no problem. But it catches too much attention..... Whatever I'll just bring my number down during my time in cube.

*Slam , the sound of a door shutting*

Sigh, i wish I can stay in my apartment and never go to any school...10 years , it has been 10 years since I came to this world ... I still have to survive 10 more....I'm tired , ughh let's just watch something fun , the boring entrance ceremony reminded me of how much I hate watching school programs.

"...."

"Not bad me, not bad" i said , looking at the apartment i was living in . It was perfect, it was big but not too big . White marble floors and light purple walls, a big balcony, a wide living room. It was an apartment with 4 rooms, 2 bedrooms, 1 practice room, a storage room with a secret room. a nice kitchen, nice modern furniture and a big fluffy bed in which I sleep and read novels.

Oh it was also on the last floor of a 12 floor apartment. which meant that no one would disturb me. No one .Enough of my apartment. I am gonna have to leave it after a few days anyway.... Haaa ,to think that I got attached to a house. How dumb.

*Ding*

Huh what is it? , interrupting my 2 minutes of shut eye....

[ miss me ?] - huh...

"hey~~its you, you plushy bastard, i was wondering how to kill you. Maybe I'll try something new like dark magic, you are a doll after all..."

[Come on!!!, Is this how you treat your benefactor!!!]

"Benefactor....., Benefactor how? You don't even kno-.... "

[what?, You were saying something, why'd you stop? ...]

"Never mind ,and stop talking to me! , i have to prepare for cube, which is just 2 days later.!!!"

[But wasn't all your luggage sent before itself?.... ] -of course it was sent you bastard ,but....

" what ? you've got something to say 💢..."- ....you are annoying and tiring to deal with, that's why you gotta leave!!.

[Nothing !!, i have some work so Bye !!]

" annoying thing..... *sigh*, one day i am going to be a deflated balloon with all this sighing ",

* our female lead smiles a bit as she is thinking of something *

how nostalgic, this reminds of the time i accepted his deal , the time when i was childish , the time when i made connections...

*the female lead stands up suddenly and says something in a serious tone *

" i have no time to be daydreaming , i have to meet 'him' fast and tell him to stop contacting me. why is he so stubborn, i already told him even before we signed the deal, that i would leave after 8 years . good grief"

[ 7:00 pm, usual place. Don't be late, i won't wait for you.]- i messaged him

[Got it!!!]- he replied excitedly, the very next second. Was he waiting for me?

narrator/ arin 's POV*

It was a breezy and cool evening. Perfect time for confessions actually!!. of course , that wasn't why arin was here. she needed to cut off all contacts with everyone she met these past 10 years. this was the last person she needed to forget. Everyone else was not as stubborn ,so it was easy. But the one she was meeting today was one of the main people that she 'has' to cut off contact with ,also the most stubborn one .

"well someone's early" said arin in a cold tone

"..." he was silent for a while but then he spoke up "it's been a while shin" - shin was a nickname that arin used a lot 10 years ago.

"i see that you have..... changed" - that is also quite true. when arin was young she looked very much like a guy. She cut it because it was bothersome and also because getting stronger was more important than beauty at that time . Only now did she grow her hair.

"... i'll get straight to the point. forget that you ever knew me"
