chapter 11- clubs

[Clubs]

there were hundreds of clubs in which students of cube could join. the most important ones for the continuation of the plot of ' the novel's extra' was these 3 clubs - travelling club, academics club and the hunting club.

Apart from these three clubs, which hajin gets into, i don't remember any others. well to be honest, if the students weren't excitingly talking about which club to join, i would have forgotten abut this part of the novel too.

'it's obvious which one to join and which to not.'- was what i thought as i laid in my bed.

"i will join the webtoons and anime club along with the travelling club. problem solved."

[HEY!!!, Arin-chan i think you have forgotten something.]

"oh C. what's with that Japanese accent. and i don't think that I've forgotten anything."

[i just wanted to try out something new, don't worry about that. but seriously don't tell me you forgot about the hunting and academics club????.]

surprising. i thought he'd say "join the clubs hajin joined and befriend him" or something along those lines.

oh well, better for me.

"Fuck....."- i had no reason to hold back since i was meditating inside my dorm. which means no one could hear me.

[Traveling Club Announcement]

—There will be a short trip on Sunday to serve as a freshman orientation.

[Academic Club Announcement]

—There will be an orientation on Friday for the freshmen.

these two messages were sent to my smartwatch as i was practicing. the first message seems very normal and nice but, the problem lies in the second message.

"i never joined the academics club, so why is there a orientation announcement."

most importantly, even though i joined some clubs related to anime and webtoons. there weren't any messages or announcements for that. even thought they said, that a message will be sent to inform something. nothing was sent.

should i go ask them?..... no wait, did he do anything..... he could..... no way right?...

"C!!!!!!!!!"- I screamed at him.

[Second. You have to best hajin. You have to show him who's the boss and take him as your disciple in the reincarnation sect, even Kim suho if possible.]

What are you talking about you shitty stalker. What do you even mean by 'reincarnation sect'?.

(this means that 3 people including arin, kim suho and kim hajin have been isekaied here. so within those 3 people he's asking arin to be the best and lead hajin.)

You have no sense of shame. How can you shorten an already small name. It's Arin not 'rin'...that's not the problem now. Should I just remove my name from that club or skip the club activities.

Cube's combat training was on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. With relaxation days on Mondays and Fridays, but this precious Friday is going to be wasted, on something useless!?!?.

How could I allow that. C just said that I had to attend the club, not that i had to listen and take part in it.

So~~ that means that i can read some novels or webtoons!!!!. 

Just as i was scheming what I would do to pass time, i saw 2 familiar figures. As soon as I noticed who it was I immediately stooped on my tracks and hid behind a wall as i peeked at them.

I did nothing wrong so, why am I hiding you ask. Well it's because the familiar figures were none other than Yoo Yeonha and hajin. Yeonha was showing off her elegant stride. And hajin was staring at her.

Well I wouldn't say staring but looking, as he turned his head after giving her a look and walked towards the club room.

I waited for a while and let 2 to 3 people go in because I didn't want to go in right after hajin and yeonha.

Room 304, it was the academic club's room.

When I entered, I saw many first years. About 30, and 23 of them were girls. Why are there so many girls - was what I thought, I've forgotten the reason so....

I looked around the room and finally settled on sitting in the left corner of the same row as yoenha.

5 minutes later, The club president finally showed up.

"Does he think he's some celebrity or something.....I take it back, he definitely thinks he's a celebrity." Was the thought in my mind as i looked at all the female students fawning over him.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Yun Hyuk. Welcome to our academic club, Veritas."

And, now starts my novel reading time. I thought jokingly. Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?.

"Since today's just the orientation, we'll only briefly discuss what our club is about."- he continued, not that i paid any attention.

40 minutes later, the orientation finally ended.

Bro, if you blabbered 5 more minutes I could have completed three whole manhwa's. Like seriously, isn't this a orientation?. Why is it so damn long!!!!. What the hell did you even mean by 'briefly discuss'.

"Yeonha cadet-nim."

"Yes?"

"You forgot this."

"Ah, yes, thank you."- said yeonha before smiling at him and leaving.

.... is his trying to hit on her. If he was, then that's not how he should do it. Just then I remembered.

"Shit, wasn't this guy involved in the fourth major event in the manhwa?" - i mumbled. 

I never remember the complete details of any novel. So i use this simple but effective system of splitting a novel or manhwa into parts and only remembering them. 

And the 'yeohna-Djinn' incident, otherwise known as the incident where yeonha gets kidnapped by this crazy president and hajin saves her. Is the fourth important event after the 'djinn in the museum' event.

How could I forget such a major event!!!. This event is the track that connects two trains called hajin and yeonha. I should stop thinking now. Ugh, the way I think is so weird!!!.

"Umm, I think you need to leave now."- said a really shy guy. not that shy but, shy.

"Huh.... HAHhh, I'm sorry I'll leave now." - as i said that, I got up and started speed walking, if that is even a word.

Gosh, that was so embarrassing. How could I think all of this nonsense while i was the only one sitting in the club room!!!.
