The simulator had offered three choices: an Intermediate Xuan Dou Technique (From combat experience), a high hung Class Qi Method(from Qi experience) and the Low-Grade Storage Ring. Xiao Long had chosen the ring after careful consideration. The Intermediate Dou Technique, Tiger Roaring Judgment, while powerful, was loud and complex, something that would draw attention if used prematurely. The Qi Method, though useful, was unnecessary at his current cultivation level.
As a reincarnator who knew the future, Xiao Long understood that the Xiao Clan was safe for now, and he had no immediate enemies. His goal was to remain discreet, to gather power while staying in the shadows.
He looked down at the newly acquired ring, its black surface gleaming faintly in the light. As Xiao Long left the secluded mountain, he made his way toward the bustling Xiao Clan estate. His sharp eyes picked up on the signs of excitement in the air. The Gu Clan had arrived.
From his memories as a Xiao Long knew exactly who was visiting. Gu Yuan, the head of the Gu Clan and one of the strongest Dou Shengs in the Dou Qi Continent, and his daughter, Gu Xun'er, the future heroine of the story. Gu Xun'er had been sent to the Xiao Clan to retrieve the Ancient Tuo She Jade under the guise of a peaceful guest, something not even Xiao Zhan, the Clan Head, understood.
The Xiao Clan believed the jade to be an ordinary relic from their ancestors, passed down through the generations as a symbol of their legacy. They had no idea it was the key to the tomb of the Ancient Tuo She.
Xiao Long smirked as he walked through the clan grounds, watching the younger children train. He had read the Battle Through the Heavens novel in his previous life, so he knew the entire plot inside and out. Gu Xun'er's arrival was the first step in a long and complicated game, a game where the Xiao Clan was woefully unaware of its true role.
He overheard the chatter of some children nearby.
"Did you hear? The Clan Head personally greeted some important guests today!" one boy exclaimed.
"Yeah, I saw them!" a girl added excitedly. "The man's aura was incredible, and there was a girl with him, about our age."
Xiao Long chuckled to himself. The Gu Clan's arrival was a monumental event, and yet these children had no idea of the true significance. Even Xiao Zhan, with all his power as a Dou Grandmaster, was ignorant of what was happening beneath the surface.

Xiao Long arrived at the dining hall, where younger children and disciples gathered for meals. He sat in a quiet corner, his mind racing with the possibilities. "She may be the perfect heir of the Gu Clan," Xiao Long mused, "but she's still a child playing by the rules of her clan. I, on the other hand, can break those rules."
After finishing his meal, Xiao Long discreetly left the dining hall, avoiding unnecessary attention. He moved with purpose, his eyes scanning the estate. He didn't need to wait for the simulation's predictions to come true. He already knew the next steps—Gu Xun'er would integrate into the Xiao Clan as an innocent child, her true motives hidden behind her gentle facade.
Xiao Long had no intention of confronting her directly, not yet. He needed more information, more power. "The time will come when I'll need to make my move, but for now... patience."

Later that afternoon, Xiao Long found himself near the Dou Technique Hall, the grand building that housed the Xiao Clan's vast collection of techniques. As he approached, he noticed a small group gathered near the entrance. Xiao Yan, the future protagonist of the story, stood there, accompanied by none other than Gu Xun'er herself.
Xiao Long observed from a distance. Xiao Yan had no idea who Xiao Xun'er really was, and for now, it would stay that way. The girl looked innocent enough, her golden eyes wide with curiosity as she listened to Xiao Yan explain the importance of the Dou Technique Hall.
"This is where the Xiao Clan stores its most precious techniques," Xiao Yan said, his tone filled with pride. "Any member of the clan can come here to learn Low Xuan Techniques, and those who contribute to the clan can even access High Xuan Techniques."
Gu Xun'er smiled politely, her expression calm and composed. "It sounds very impressive," she said softly.
Xiao Long's gaze lingered on her for a moment. She was beautiful, with an otherworldly elegance, her every movement graceful and precise. But Xiao Long knew better than to be taken in by appearances. Behind that facade of gentleness lay the cunning mind of the Gu Clan's heir, a girl who would stop at nothing to retrieve the Ancient Jade.
As Xiao Long turned to leave, his eyes briefly met Gu Xun'er's. There was a flicker of recognition in her gaze, but neither of them acknowledged it. She turned back to Xiao Yan, and Xiao Long continued on his way.
"She's sharp," Xiao Long thought. "But I'll make her submit and breed her a thousand daughters."
