"No! This slice of cake is mine!"
"No, I'm older than you. So, this is mine!"
Two small voices were heard in the dining room, a little boy, and a little girl.
Both of them were tugging the platter to their side, making their mother, Shu Xian, sigh in exasperation as she struggled to the thought of scolding them, or taking a deep breath and reprimand them calmly.
It was already eight in the evening and with her finishing checking the papers she collected from her students, she felt her head heavy and made the action of scolding them too much for her to do.
Heck, not even a single word can escape from her mouth!
"You already ate one slice of your own yesterday! This is mine," the little girl complained, her brother immediately retorting.
"But you got a bigger slice yesterday! This is now mine! Be fair!"
