Reborn as Okumura Rin in Fire Force

As evident from the title, I thought about various characters with pyrokinesis to use for a Fire Force fanfiction. I settled on Rin because of the similarities between him and Shinra. Both are older brothers, both are called demons, both are capable of mass destruction but it's tempered by their kindness. It's a great dynamic, and I think it could make a great story. Now let's talk about what changes about Rin's flames in this new world.

Now, I'm not exactly caught up on Fire Force, but I do have some knowledge on the subject. I know that there are at least three different main generations of pyrokinetics created by Spontaneous Human Combustion: The First Generation are the Infernals, those who have lost their human form and become misshapen flame creatures. They are effectively immortal unless the core in their chest is destroyed. They can create fire at will, but the downside is that they are in ceaseless pain, which generally results in the loss of sanity, causing them to go on a rampage. The Second Generation is made up of those who adapted to SHC, which has made them able to manipulate pre-existing flames. This ability takes many forms such as redirecting fire, amplifying or extinguishing completely. Finally, the Third Generation, which is where Shinra starts at the beginning of the series. They are capable of generating and controlling their own flames. They don't have the ability to control pre-existing sources of fire, but I believe their powers tend to be stronger or more specialized than Second Generation for the most part. There is also the Fourth Generation but we won't be talking about them.

Now about Rin's powers, let's talk about the hybrid of 2nd and 3rd Generation. This does actually exist in the original story, pyrokinetics being able to control pre-existing fire whilst also generating their own. In Blue Exorcist, the Flames of Satan were just that, flames. Sure they were a lot more powerful than regular fire, but they didn't have any special property aside from the fact that only Satan and Rin could use them. In this fan-fiction I'd like to give them one, so why don't we talk about what these blue flames can do. When active, I think it should appear similar to Tamaki's Bakeneko, where Rin would have his flame horns as well as a demon tail made of his fire. His flame could be what gives him his demonic powers, such as increased strength and a healing factor, but I think it should have a special property. So, taking from the fact that Satan is the King of All Demons, let's make Rin's flames have the ability to conquer all fire, including Infernals. Obviously, he can't have that ability at the very start, but his fire will possess the property of being solely under his control and slowly grow from there. Nobody can supersede his reign, meaning if your fire is conquered by his it's game over. What do you think? Too Strong? I'm trying to make an interesting powerset, but if it's too broken it might not be fun to write.
