Chapter 14

"Tristan" sounds behind his door. Tristan looks up. Moanah sleeps in his arms. David enters his room. "Dad asks if we come down for food." Tristan nods. He carefully removes his arms from Moanah and pushes the pillow behind her back. "She asleep?" Tristan nods. He kisses her head and tucks her under. "Let her sleep" he says and walks out. "He closes the door behind him and looks around in the hallway. "Look" he whispers and gives David a look. "This... all of this. Stays between you, me and her understood? I'll take care of Jimmy. But you do not say this to anyone alright?" David nods and then sighs. "But you are mistaken if you think that you are taking care of Jimmy alone alright?" Tristan chuckles. "I believe to think that you really are my brother" he jokes. David laughs softly. "What are we going to do?" "Oh, I'm not going to kill him... I'm going to do much worse" Tristan chuckles. David smiles.

Slowly the two of them walk down. "Where is Moanah" asks Ian. "Asleep, she's not feeling well." "I'll check up on her" says Amanda. "No, she is just tired, don't worry. I'm taking care of her." Ian looks surprised at Tristan. "Alright" says Amanda and squeezes Ian his hand. "What" David asks when he sees Selina looking intensely at Tristan. Selina shakes her head and cuts her meat. "Mason" begins Ian. Mason sighs and takes his head off his fist. He rubs his hair out of his face and continues with making circles in his puree. He looks up when he sees Tristan his burning eyes on him. "What" he asks. Tristan smirks softly and hastily finishes his food. "Tristan" says Amanda shocked when he swallows a piece of meat and jumps up. "What? I'm going to see if Moanah needs some food" he answers and runs up the stairs. "Is it me or is he being weird" asks Selina. "The only weird one here are you" scoffs David. Selina growls at him. "David, Selina. Please" says Ian and looks up. Something was going on... That far he was. But he trusts his son. If he says he'll take care of Moanah, he knows he will.

"She'll be okay" whispers Amanda understanding and kisses his jaw. Ian smiles softly and takes Kaylee out of the high chair. "David" asks Ian but David is already gone. "Where he went to?" Selina points up and places the dirty dishes in the machine. Ian sighs and rolls his eyes. Well, guess I'll have to put you in a bath myself" he says. "NO" David shouts louder as hoped for from up the stairs. "I will do it" he hastily continues and runs down the stairs. He hastily grabs Kaylee and smiles. "You just relax on the couch... dad," he says and walks up. Ian pulls up an eyebrow. "Okay now I really am starting to think something's up" Selina says. Ian scratches his head. He looks at David who hastily runs over to the bathroom with the toddler. Ian cannot see the bathroom. Not yet. The lock on the door is blasted off, there is a big crack in the door where Tristan kicked it and the floor is still wet. No, Ian couldn't see the bathroom like this. But what could he do? Repair the door? In one night? Ian would notice it sooner or later anyway. He must come up with something.

"What the hell" he hears behind him. He turns hastily to see Selina. "What the fuck happened" she yells. "Selina" David says and rushes over to her. "I eh. Just keep it down for a while okay." "What the heck you did with the door" she curses. "I am so telling" she laughs and turns to walk head on Tristan. "Oof Tristan" she curses. "You won't tell a thing, "He says and takes a threatening step closer. "Oh yeah, and why's that?" "Cause if you do... little sister... I will personally make sure that your hair burns off your skull while you are asleep" he says with a dangerously low voice. "How you think you can hide this" she growls. "And seriously, my hair? Of all things? My hair?!" Tristan chuckles. "Shoo Selina, adults need to talk." Selina growls and walks to her room. "I hate you" she shouts before entering. Tristan and David laugh. They give each other a fist bump. "Now, that door" he says and looks at the gap. "If we had a dog this would be easy" groans David. Tristan laughs. "Let's fast get one" he jokes. David laughs. "You know, that kick was pretty impressive. If I didn't know better, I would say you are excellent at sport." Tristan lifts his shoulders. "I don't know where that came from. I'm not really into sports you know that." David nods. "Well, if you ever change your mind... You would be a good football player with those kinds of kicks." Tristan laughs. "Nah, not my thing. Doubting about joining the army Tho." "You joking" asks David. Tristan shakes his head. David nods. "Well, you have my respect that's for sure. Maybe we could sign up together? What you think? You and me, army buds." Tristan laughs while David chuckles. "Let's first be sure that we don't kill Jimmy with our bare hands. " "Oof now that's something I can't promise." Tristan laughs. "You and me both" he growls. "What are we going to do with that door though? I can fast get another one in Home Depot but Ian will notice. We can't just walk in with a door in our hands you know." Tristan smiles. "I think I got just the idea."

"DADDYYY" yells Selina loudly. Ian looks up. "DAD" yells Hope loudly. "What now again" Ian growls when he hears Kaylee crying. He hastily walks up with Amanda behind him. He sees Hope with Kaylee in her arms, shaking like a leaf. "I'll kill you" he hears Tristan saying. He looks over to see Tristan with his hands around David his troth. "TRISTAN" he yells.

David his back is pressed against the broken bathroom door. "Oh my god" whispers Amanda and yells; "DAVID"! "What the hell happened," she asks Amanda. Selina shrugs. "No idea" she says. Hope sighs. Tristan wanted to be the funny one and hanged his arm around hope her neck. Weird enough. David thought he was flirting with her" explains Robin and hides behind Amanda. Amanda takes his hand. "My fucking sister" growls David and pushes Tristan back. Tristan bumps into Ian who tries to break them apart. "Knock it off" growls Ian and holds Tristan in his arms. He places himself between David and Tristan. "Enough, both of you" he yells. "Down now!" Selina smirks when she looks at the broken door. Curious she walks behind Ian downstairs. "Come on, it's okay" says Amanda and places her arm around Robin. Hope sighs and puts Kaylee in bed.

"What on earth were you thinking" yells Ian angrily and paces back and forth in front of the fireplace. Mason looks concentrated at Tristan. "You two are brothers! Now you are going to work it out. You both are grounded! Again! I am so disappointed in you two" he roars. "honey" whispers Amanda and places her hands around Ian. "Calm down. Tristan, David. You both will go to your rooms, think about what you've done. Monday we will get another door and you two will replace it together! Is that understood?!" David nods while Tristan sighs. "Go, now!" Groaning they get up and walk up the stairs. "I cannot believe this" sighs Ian and places himself down on the couch. Robin rubs his shoulder. "You are a good dad" he comforts. Ian smiles softly.

"Worth it" chuckles Tristan and gives David a fist bump. "Totally" laughs David and hugs Tristan. A smile curls around Selina her lips as she watches them from behind the corner. She knew it! Something was going on with those two.

David closes his room door while Tristan looks once again at the bathroom door. There was no other way he could explain it to Ian. Sighing he walks back into his room and wraps his arms around Moanah. "Sleep tight little sister" he whispers. Moanah doesn't answer. He kisses her head and puts his down.
