CHAPTER 16

My annoying phone woke me up from a deep sleep. Kylee and I were snuggled together on the couch . I eased myself away from her naked body and grabbed my phone . Why the heck was Jayden calling me at three in the morning ? Well, my morning .

"This better be important . It's three AM here. " I answered the call.

" It is. It's about Lia. "

I was wide awake now. My parental instincts kicking in.

"What is it? Is she okay?" I not too long spoke to her. She seemed fine. Happy. Unless she was hiding something from me.

Jayden explained to me about how Brandon and Jayson has been hitting her since I left. No words could describe the anger that was boiling inside of me.

"I'm trying. I really am. I know I've been an ass towards her, but I don't know what to do. They won't listen to me.! " He pulled his hair in frustration.

" I'm coming back. Right now."

"Now, Adam? What about your boss?"
