In 2056 and promising intellectual child by the name of Devon decided to code a hazard removal program for robots. This would involve them using onboard tools to remove any source of radioactive material it deemed an immediate threat. Over 200 years later, the remains of the disc infected a robot where it began to spread and caused all infected robots to attack any and every creature that was radioactive.

(Wars)

-1st Atomite-Melanii War

Date: May 11, 2283-September 29, 2283

Cause: Numerous claims on holy artifacts and land by each side led to a long series of skirmishes between the opposing forces. The side who shot first is still disputed.

Result: Melanii victory - Land was seized, intact items were retrieved, Atomites retreated into key fortifications.

-2nd Atomite-Melanii War

Date: December 2, 2285 - February 19, 2286

Cause: Atomites led several suprise attacks against Melanii compounds. These attacks included suicide bombers with nuka-grenades wired to their chests. The Melanii war machine eventually restarted and that advantage the Atomites had at the beginning seemed to slip away. Atomites had hoped to avenge their fallen and to reclaim sacred items.

Result: Indecisive - While the Atomites reclaimed numerous peices of land and artifacts, the Melanii dealt serious blows to Atomite infrastructure in the Capital Wasteland and Southeast Pennsylvania.

Cause: Tensions are brewing in recent times which is seemingly going to lead up to the decimation of one side or the other.

Result: All or nothing.

(Internal Conflicts)

-The Murkite Divide

The Murkites spectate from the sidelines as they see both the CoA and U-M wage holy war against each other. Priests on Sacred Council argue whether they should enact interventionalist policies or remain neutral. The interventionists believe that after one side is eliminated, they victor will purge any other threat to their beliefs. The neutralists believe that their deity will protect them and that they should not worry about the world around them.
