"HAPPY NEW YEARS GIFT" 10 Advance Chapters

"So you guys have any reference for a new sheriff?"
"Your guess is as good as mine. You might luck upon someone who's a natural-born sheriff. Now that I remember. I heard of one fella who got himself locked in that NCR jailhouse up I-15. Maybe that ain't the best credential, but a sheriff's a sheriff."
Johnson Nash noticed that Six was staring at the only other elderly man in his group. Nearly the whole time he was talking to him. Which baffled him.
"Youngster, why do you keep staring at that man?"
"Oh, Sorry about that. I forgot to introduce you; this is Meyer, the man you were talking about from the NCR Prison."
Meyer Tilted his hat and told Johnson Nash.
"I'm Meyer, I was a sheriff believe it or not, for a small town far to the west of here. I can do right by this town, you're in need of some frontier justice."
"You're probably a man of your word, but we're gonna need to get you a pardon from the NCR first. Is that possible youngster?"
"We'll do a quick trip to the Mojave Outpost and will be back in a few hours. So, you guys can just sit back. Meyers, we're leaving."
Six and his team, including Meyers, turned away from Johnson Nash and the Vicky and Vance Casino, heading for the Mojave Outpost to secure Meyers's pardon. As they stepped outside into the dusty streets of Primm, Six's thoughts raced.
The town was still vulnerable, but if Goodsprings could provide solid defenses, the place had a chance. His mind lingered on the reward he had just received—Binding Contract Maker. Which he'll be using in making deals that would stick, no matter the circumstances.
Rebecca, walking beside Six, nudged him.
"So, Big guy, how are we handling this? NCR types aren't exactly known for handing out pardons to ex-cons."
Six smirked.
"Don't worry about it. If we run into trouble, we'll just use a little persuasion. Worst case, we do it my way and shoot our way through."
Meyer, overhearing, tipped his hat again.
"I'd prefer if we didn't have to, but I appreciate the vote of confidence. The NCR's strict, but I got out on good terms with some folks there. This should go smoothly."
They piled into the Battle Bus, its reinforced armor gleaming in the desert sun. The vehicle roared to life, and within moments, they were speeding toward the Mojave Outpost, kicking up a cloud of dust as they left Primm behind.
After a couple of hours, they arrived at the Mojave Outpost, the two giant statues of soldiers shaking hands looming over them like silent sentinels. The NCR soldiers at the gate eyed the Battle Bus warily, but seeing no immediate threat, they waved the group through.
Inside, Six led the way straight to the commanding officer, Major Knight. The grizzled NCR officer was sitting behind a desk, shuffling through papers, clearly busy with logistics. He barely looked up when Six entered, but Meyer's presence caught his attention.
"Something I can help you with?"
Major Knight asked, glancing between Meyer and the others.
Six didn't waste any time.
"We're here for a pardon. This man..."
He pointed at Meyer.
"used to be a sheriff and Primm could use someone like him. You give us the pardon, and the town will get back on its feet. Simple as that. So, if we can get him a pardon, will get this done lickily split."
Major Knight looked Meyer up and down, frowning.
"Sheriff, huh? I remember the reports on you. You were decent, but the law is the law. You'll need a legitimate reason for this pardon, and there's paperwork involved. But more importantly, why should I trust you, especially if you've been in prison?"
Meyer stepped forward, standing tall.
"I made mistakes, but my time served was almost up, and I don't have ties to the Powder Gangers. Primm's in need, and I know frontier justice better than most. I can do this job, keep the peace, and give the NCR one less headache. But I need that chance."
Six leaned in, flashing a sly grin.
"Besides, the NCR gains an ally in a town along I-15. Goodsprings already supports Primm, and it could mean safer trade routes, fewer raiders, and fewer problems for you guys. We help you, you help us."
Knight raised an eyebrow, thinking it over. He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms across his chest.
"That's quite the offer. All right. If his sentence was closing up I can see about getting him pardoned. Primm is important to our trade-up from California, so having someone there who owes us a favor... that couldn't hurt"
He sighed, rubbing his temple.
"Fair enough. You've got yourself a deal."
Six nodded.
Meyer shook Major Knight's hand, sealing the deal.
"Thank you. I won't let Primm down."

[Quest: My Kind of Town 2/2. Complete]
[Objective: Obtain a pardon for Meyer]
[Reward: Super rare Gold-Tier Item Naquadah generator]
Naquadah generator:
Naquadah generators are advanced reactor units that produce tremendous amounts of clean energy from small amounts of refined Naquadah.
Six couldn't help but smirk as the notification appeared once more, reminding him of the reward he had just unlocked.
The Naquadah Generator, a Gold-Tier item, wasn't just a simple energy source—it was a game-changer. The ability to generate vast amounts of clean energy from a minimal supply of refined Naquadah meant that Six now held the key to powering his ever-growing projects across the Mojave.
As he reviewed the details of the reward, he realized the immense advantage this would provide. The vault he was expanding, the advanced robotics, the defenses, and even Rebecca's ever-growing demands for better equipment—all of it would now have access to virtually limitless energy.
Six thought for a moment, contemplating how to integrate the generator.
"I'll set it up in the Vault's energy hub. This thing will power not only the Vertibird construction line but also weapon production and the automated defenses. The Naquadah could easily be replicated with the matter converters."
Rebecca, noticing Six's intense focus, walked up to him.
"You're smiling like you just found a million caps. What's got you so excited?"
Six turned toward her, still grinning.
"We've got ourselves a Naquadah Generator. That's a clean, massive energy source from the stars. It'll power everything we need without breaking a sweat."
Rebecca's eyes lit up.
"You mean all those projects you've been working on, the power grid, the Vault's expansion? All of it?"
"Exactly."
Six replied.
"Goodsprings is about to become the technological powerhouse of the Mojave. This generator will change everything—faster growth, better defenses, more advanced robotics. We'll be unstoppable."
Rebecca smiled and punched him lightly in the arm.
"You always find a way to pull ahead. So, what's the plan now?"
"First, we head back to the Vault. We'll integrate the generator there. Then, it's time to start accelerating all our plans—Vertibird production, defensive enhancements, and automated systems. After that, we secure the Mojave's future, and maybe, just maybe, take control of the entire region."
Rebecca gave a sly grin.
"I like the sound of that."
With the Naquadah Generator in hand and a vision for the future, Six knew the Mojave was about to witness a new era of power and innovation. All that was left was to execute the plan.
"Major Knight, may I speak with Ranger Jackson? I have a proposal to discuss with him," Six inquired.
"Of course, he's in the back and will be expecting you."
Replied Major Knight.
Upon arriving at Ranger Jackson's office, Six approached him directly.
"Six, you're just the person I've been looking for. I need help, and you seem capable. There's an infestation of crawlers at the Nipton Road Rest Stop bridge."
"Alright, that's not what I intended to discuss, but count me in."
"Good to hear, soldier. What else did you want to discuss?"
"I propose clearing out the NCR Correctional Facility and returning control to the NCR. In return, I want Primm's lands up to my city to be recognized as Goodsprings territory under my control."
"The NCR can't grant those territories; they're not within our jurisdiction. Sorry, pal."
"Are you certain, Ranger Jackson? If the land is mine, you won't need to defend it. I'll use my forces for protection. It's a beneficial deal since I'm an NCR trade partner."
"Hmm. Let me make some calls and see what I can arrange."
After waiting outside for over thirty minutes, Jackson summoned Six.
"Okay, Six, I've received approval from higher-ups, and they've agreed to your terms. Clear the NCR Correctional Facility, return control to us, and we'll officially recognize your authority over both towns and the lands between."
Six presented a contract he had prepared. Ranger Jackson, finding no hidden clauses, signed it.
"Now that's settled, deploy your forces. I cleared the facility days ago, eliminating all the Powder Gangers. You can assume control whenever you wish."
"Was I just outmaneuvered? Haha, you'd make a fine politician someday, kid. Let me verify your claims."
After another hour's wait, Six received confirmation.
"Well played, kid. As of now, you own the lands of Primm and Goodsprings. However, they remain within NCR territory, so the inhabitants must abide by NCR laws."
Six gave a confident smirk as Ranger Jackson handed him a copy of the signed contract.
"I appreciate the efficiency, Ranger. NCR laws are fine by me. We'll make sure they're enforced in both Primm and Goodsprings."
Jackson leaned back in his chair, shaking his head with an amused grin.
"You're quite the politician, Six. Managing to clear that facility ahead of time and still come out on top in this deal. It's no wonder you're building such a reputation."
Six folded the contract and slipped it into his jacket pocket.
"I like to stay ahead of the game, Ranger. It's all about securing a future for my people and keeping everything in order."
Ranger Jackson stood, extending his hand.
"Well, good luck with that. With the NCR Correctional Facility back in our hands, we can station troops there again and stabilize the area. And knowing you're watching over Primm and Goodsprings, that's one less thing for us to worry about."
Six shook his hand firmly.
"Glad to be of help. If you ever need anything else, you know where to find me."
As Six walked out of the office, he felt a sense of accomplishment. With Primm and Goodsprings now under his official control, his influence in the Mojave was expanding rapidly. As long as the NCR played nice, everything was moving exactly as planned.
