4. Curie

They are curious about what is inside the locker and open it when they are shocked when see some skeletons in each locker with vault tech lab uniforms. When continuing to observe the skeletons, hoping to find some details about them they hear a sound sound that is almost like a robot that is calling to them.

When they turned to see who was calling them, they saw a white Mr. Handy robot that was inside a room and seeing them from the window. They approach the window and Sico knows that the robot in front of him is Curie, the one who will be his companion and the only one who knows about the cure vault tech research in this place.

Curie: "Oh another stranger, are you vault tech security? I wait so very patiently for you to arrive."

Sico: "Hello who are you?."

Curie: "I am a Contagions Vulnerability Robotic Infirmary Engineer or CVRIE. The human scientists call me Curie or more properly they called me this when they were alive. I repeat, are you vault tech security?."

Sico: "Do you know what is happening around here?."

Curie: "My poor little darlings, they were used to grow all manner of new and interesting pathogens. Then vault citizens would be exposed to these viruses in the hopes that they would develop new antibodies. Clyde gets out of his cage he is smarter than the others, and then he lets out the others and those poor scientists never stand a chance. Clyde has been dead for almost two centuries now, but his descendants still roam the vault. I'm rambling. where are my manners, are you vault tech security?."

Jenny: "Can you just open the door?."

Curie: "There is a proper procedure to do this thing. I'm pleased to report I completed my primary duties 83 years ago, where thousands of pathogens grow in the mole rat host. Then a single broad-spectrum cure was developed to treat them all, very satisfying work for many decades. Now, please tell me that you are authorized to release me from the lab."

Jenny: "What should we do? Do we have to release her?."

Sico: "Hmm… I think we have to because she has a cure for the disease that has been growing from the mold rats and maybe can cure all kinds of sickness in the world right now or mostly. Robert, why aren't you authorized to release her from the lab? Because you are part of the security."

Robert: "Well if you say so, Curie I'm part of the security forces and have been authorized to release from the lab."

Curie: "Great, I open the door for you."

Sico: "Well let's go in guys, I do the talk and you guys search around the room for something useful for us."

Twins: "Okay!."

When heading inside the lab, Sico continues talking to Curie and the twins searching inside the lab.

Curie: "Since you are a vault tech representative, I entrust you with the broad spectrum cure I developed. However, be advised there is only one dose left, whereas the others have expired because of time and I can no longer make any more because there are no organic compounds left for me to make."

Sico: "Okay then, but if I find the organic compound that is necessary for the spectrum can you make more?."

Curie: "Of course, I have all the steps and research inside my database and the spectrum can be used like stimpaks but it's more effective than regular stimpaks."

Sico: "Great, hey guys what stuff did you find?."

Jenny: "Well I found some research experiments inside the terminal here and some kind of personal log from the scientist."

Robert: "I found some documents and some scientific stuff like tubes."

Sico: "Okay then let's back to the vault citizen section."

Curie: "Excuse just a moment, can I follow you guys and explore the outside world? Imagine what kind of new disease I could find and maybe help to find its cure."

Sico: "Well of course and we are glad to have you become our companion."

Curie: "Great I follow you guys and we can just use the elevator to back to the surface, this way."

After following Curie on the way to the elevator, the group hops on the elevator and back to the previous vault section. The group met a door and some terminal that could be used for opening the door, Sico hacked it and clicked to open the door. When the doors open, they find that Officer Edwards and a couple of security guys show up in front of them holding a pistol that is headed to them.

Sico: "Whoa slow down it's us Sico, Robert, and Jenny."

Edwards: "Hey what are you three guys doing in there? This door has never been open for many years."

Sico: "Well before explaining what happened, can you call the overseer because there is something that I have to tell her and of course with you too Officer Edwards."

Edwards: "Okay then wait here, you two keep an eye on these three and that robot. I have to call the Overseer."

Security A and B: "Yes sir!."

While waiting for Officer Edwards and the overseer to arrive, Sico quickly thinks about how to explain this situation to the overseer about how he and the others found that place, also why they carry a weapon.

When the overseer and Officer Edwards arrived, the overseer quickly asked Sico how the hell he found that place and where they got that weapon.

Overseer Gwen: "Sico, please explain to me how you got to this situation and where you guys got that weapon from?."

A/n: after this, I just use Gwen for the name because it's too long to write Overseer Gwen.

Sico: "Well first I found out this place is there an old overseer terminal in the junk place and hacked into it and found some logs and records about this place. So after knowing that, I asked Jenny and Robert to follow me on this adventure you know that living in this vault is boring. For the gun I asked Robert to get it from the armory room, well you know that he is part of the security guard right? When we explored the place, there were some creatures or groups of mole rats so we had to defend ourselves and kill it."

Gwen: "How do you know that there is a group of mole rats in there?."

Sico: "Well the previous overseer explained all of it in the log so I know about it and asked Robert to get some weapons for protection."

Gwen: "Okay then and who is this robot?."

Sico: "Well I explain what this place is for first, this place was created by Vault tech to research cures for all kinds of diseases and they use the mole rats as the test subjects that are injected with thousands of pathogens. Before they wanted to spread it to the citizen vault they called it but before spreading it one of the test subjects was free and helped the other to escape then attacked all the scientists in there."

Gwen: "What!? How can they do that!? And keeping it secret from us all these years!?."

Sico: "Yup that's right, I think the purpose they built all these vaults is so they can do some experiments on us. Well, Curie is the robot that has been helping the scientist to make the spectrum or cure for all the diseases that growing on the mole rats and succeeds in making it but because we find out too late there just only one spectrum left while the rest of it destroy because of time."

Gwen: "Really!? Good then at least she can make it again right?."

Sico: "Yes overseer as long as she has the right organic compound we can make it and she telling me that this spectrum can be used as a regular stimpaks to but more effective than regular stimpak."

Gwen: "Wow that's amazing, then maybe we should find the organic compound for her to make it and we can sell them outside for some junk or food we can barter or buy."

Sico: "Oh and overseer? I have a suggestion maybe we can expand the vault to that place so we can have more room and I think there is some stuff that still could be used for us."

Gwen: "Hmm… I think about it"

After finishing explaining the whole story and introducing Curie to the overseer, she lets us get to sleep because it has been an exhausting day for us when we realize that it's already nighttime. I and the twins parted ways to our own rooms and there my parents were worried about me because heard the situation from Officer Edwards when he was on the way to call the overseer.

Lisa: "Sico what are you thinking about exploring someplace that has never been open so many years!? Do you know how worried we are!?."

Jacob: "Your mom is right Sico, you are always clever enough but why not this time?."

Sico: "Sorry Mom and Dad, it will never happen again I promise."

Lisa: "Good and who is this?."

Sico: "Ohh Mom this is Curie my friend I found her locked in that place and took her to make her become my companion."

Curie: "Nice to meet you Madam and Monsieur."

Lisa: "Nice to meet you too Curie, well then eat your dinner, take a shower, and get some rest Sico, and for you Curie, please make yourself at home."

Sico: "Yes Mom."

Curie: "Thank you madam with pleasure."

After eating his dinner and taking a shower, Sico rested in his bed thinking about the situation today with Curie resting to save her power. While thinking there was a sound from the system

Sico: 'Hmm… not bad at all, tomorrow I need to convince the overseer about expanding the vault because the vault is already full enough."

After planning and thinking about what ways he should convince the overseer and all the people who live in the vault, Sico slowly closes his eyes and gets to sleep because of an exhausting day.
