Meet Werewolves

Living a day without Max made Jade still not used to it. She's through college with no strength. Until she wondered why even one day without him can be so long for her. She used to be alone when she didn't meet Max yet, but it turned out so hard for her.

She sighed when class was over. She put her head on the table and saw Dave looking at her. "Are you free?" He asked her.

"Did you just ask me?" Asked Jade.

"To whom else do I ask if it's not you?" 

Jade laughed and picked her head up. She came closer to Dave with her backpack. "I'm free. Are you going to ask me out?"

"Well, you already know, so yeah. Do you want to?"

Jade nodded. "Of course, I do. Where will we go?"

"I plan to have dinner with you but it depends on you too."

"Dinner will be great. I like to eat, I mean you know what I like, don't you?"

"I do. Errr, are you fighting with your boyfriend?" He asked her after that.

Jade shrugged her shoulders with a smile. She said nothing to him as an answer. "Well, I will go home first. Call me if you are already on the way. See you, Dave!"

Jade came out of the class. She had no desire to join her friends in the cafeteria, so she just went to the parking lot and drove home.

There was no Zack's car, which meant the house was no one there. Jade then entered her home and put her backpack on the sofa. She felt hungry so she checked the refrigerator.

"Jade."

Jade jumped in surprise and she turned around. There was Ace who stood behind and surprised her with his pale look.

"Ace! What are you doing here?" She asked with nervousness.

"I'm sorry about that. I just want to check you out. I mean, your boyfriend asked me to check you. So… you're totally fine, aren't you?"

Jade took her breath with her eyes closed and then she opened it when she let her breath out. "I am. Thank you for checking me out."

"So, just two days left. Are you going to forgive him? I mean, you know vampires can't stay away from blood. It is just about how we have to control it," explained Ace.

She didn't know why Ace, her boyfriend's brother, cared about the matters. She has never been too close to Ace since the day they met. 

"Are you worried if I don't forgive your brother, Ace?" Asked Jade with a skeptical look.

"Jade, he suffers not to see you like he used to. You don't know how many years he waited for you to be his. And when he finally got you, he was happy and looked different. I hope you understand."

She felt guilty after hearing that. But she also needed more time. Her vampire boyfriend just killed a girl in her college and it shocked her.

"How is she?" Asked Max when he knew about his brother's arrival.

"Good. She looks better. Why don't you just check her yourself? Isn't it that you used to stalk her before you met her?" Asked Ace.

But Max didn't answer at all. He just looked at the forest from her window home. His eyes watched around the forest. He heard something that wasn't vampires or humans.

"What is it?" Asked Ace knowing the same thing.

Max directly came out from his house. And two werewolves came to his house. Ace followed him and two of his fangs showed up.

The two werewolves then changed into their human body. They are naked without feeling embarrassed. 

"I think Mara passed our territory, Max," said one of the werewolves. "We have the agreement, don't we? And she does know it too, right?" Added him.

Max hissed and chuckled because of what his sister did. "What did she do, Shane?" Asked Max to the werewolf man, named Shane.

"We don't want to know what she did. But, the thing is she passed it. You have to inform her, Max. Or-"

"Fine. Don't threaten us. I will tell her later when she's back," cut Max off to Shane's word.

Suddenly, the car stopped in front of the house. Max and Ace knew the smell. It was Jade who came and she came out of her car.

Her two eyes then saw two werewolves without clothes. But she didn't know their identities. She felt surprised and nervous. 

"Oh… I'm sorry if I bother you guys. I will-"

"No, you're not. Come here," replied Max.

Without letting go of her eyes from two werewolves who were naked, Shane looked at her spellbound. He explored her eyes from tip to toe.

Max felt surprised knowing Jade came to his house. But he will ask her later and focus on what is in front of him.

"You can leave us, Shane," said Max to him.

"Alright. Don't forget to tell your sister, Max. We leave now."

Jade backed off a little when she saw two men she saw changed into a wolf. She then knew that they were werewolves.

Ace then whispered to her jokingly, "they are looking for you to become their food. So, you must be afraid, Jade."

Reflexively, Jade hit his arm and smiled. "Don't try to make me afraid, because I'm not. I'm just shocked that I met werewolves all of sudden," replied her.

Ace laughed and he disappeared quickly from her and Max. Now it was just the two of them outside.

"I've never thought you will come here, Jade," said Max.

"I decided to meet you and talk about what happened yesterday. I mean, I don't care about it. All I care about is that I can meet you and I don't want to be separated from you, Max."

One eyebrow Max raised. "Wait… first, don't you have a question about werewolves?" Asked Max.

"No, I don't. Why must I have questioned if what I saw is the answer from my thoughts?"

"And you are not afraid of them?"

Jade shook her head. "I'm afraid of losing and can't meet you, Max. That's why I-"

Max suddenly kissed her lips. They then kissed each other with a passion of longing from one day they didn't meet.
