Her Transformation

Shane suddenly stepped on the brake pedal suddenly. He and Jade luckily wore seat belts.

Jade immediately looked at him in surprise. She saw that Shane seemed to be thinking about something with such a sharp gaze.

"Shane? What happened?" Jade asked, with ragged breaths.

"Would you like not to go to campus today? Something happened at my base, Jade," Shane asked.

"We're going there now then!" Jade agreed.

Now, whatever happened to Shane and his people, Jade would follow suit. So she didn't have to think twice, let alone Shane himself who offered.

The car drove back towards Shane's base at a fairly high speed. He tried to stay calm even though his mind was quite muddled.

The car was parked outside the base. Shane pulled Jade's hand into the base and they stopped in front of the hall door. Jade looked shocked while Shane just looked normal but his face showed an annoyed expression.
