I'll believe you

Going back to reality, Aaron gazed at xue lin whose eyes was filled with tears, he knew she would react like this and he was even blaming his foolish self for keeping it away from her.

"I'm sorry xue lin, I never wanted to do it with her" Aaron pleaded as he moved closer to her to envelope her in a hug, he thought that she would push him away and shout at him but that didn't happen, he was surprised that she had hugged him back and caressed his hair.

Aaron's eyes was filled with confusion, isn't she supposed to be angry, jealous and mad at him, wasn't she supposed to push him away and let him see her eyes which was filled with disgust.

"That's in the past Aaron, forget about it okay? you have me and I am your present and future, whatever she wants to do let her do, I'll believe you till the end okay?" She asked him as she stared into his eyes lovingly, truth was that she was feeling a prick in her chest but she didn't want to drive him away from her when there was someone who was patiently waiting to snatch him, it was better to keep him closest in this period of time.

she leaned in to kiss his lips as she sealed her promise with it.

"Then are you okay if she works in the same company as me?" Aaron asked her, he told her about the deal that they both had this night before they came home and xue lin was full of suspicions not towards Aaron but towards that woman who she will never trust.

"It's alright, I'll be there with you but make sure she doesn't come too close to you, I don't want you two doing anything together, I'll keep an eye on her okay?, if that's fine with you then she is free to work with you" She asked as she pinched both his cheeks and pursed her lips where his arms were wrapped around her waist.

"Alright, I'll do as you say" stated Aaron.

"That's a good boy and again, no private discussion, no phone calls, no messages or chats, no visisting one another, if you are going to do all these let me know, who knows what she intends to do now that she is back" xue lin said as she tilted her head sideways, what she could point out from all these things that he had revealed to her was that the woman had a mission to accomplish, what was she trying to do? who sent her? was she targeting Aaron or her? and also...

"Wait! Aaron, the baby isn't yours right?" Xue lin asked with wide eyes, that would be really terrible if things were to happen like that, what if Aaron ends up marrying her because she had his child, that wouldn't happen would it?

"She said it's mine but I don't believe her, I'll make sure to get to the root of this and figure out why she is here and don't worry xue lin, what you are thinking will never come to pass as you said earlier, you are my present and my future, I want no other than you, you'll belong to me forever and I'll belong to you forever... I ... I love you" Aaron confessed.

Xue lin had to pause her hand that were running through his hair to look directly into his eyes, his words had warmed her heart, she could feel it beating erratically in her chest. "W-What did you say" she stuttered, that was the very first time she had heard him say something like that and she wished to hear it again.

Aaron gulped down making his Adam's apple bop up and down, he was thinking of confessing his feelings to her in a more romantic way but he had just blurted it out now as he was unable to control the emotions that were surging through his body.

"I said," he leaned closer to her ear and when he was very close to her, he said," I love you xue lin". Xue lin could feel her heart burst for joy, her cheeks had turned unbelievably red due to his hot breath that was falling above her ear. She felt her heart beating loudly like it was about to jump out of its ribcage, "What of you? what do you feel about me?" Aaron asked, although she had confessed before him he still wanted to hear it again. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she whispered the words "I love you" into his ear like he did for her.

Aaron smiled at her, the smile that made her heart stop, this was the very first time he had smiled like this, he was always wearing his smirks, devilish smile but this one was genuine and she could feel the love that he has for her in those eyes of his, that's it, she has conquered him! she felt happy knowing that she had accomplished her biggest mission of making him fall for her.

"Thank you" said Aaron as he pulled her in for a hug.

The next day, Aaron was waiting for xue lin downstairs as he read something on his phone, xue lin tiptoed closer to Aaron wanting to tickle his sides but she was surprised when he had turn and tickle her instead making her laugh, "That was so sudden" she said grinning as she held his hand in her's.

"Good morning honey how was your sleep?" Xue lin asked as she smiled at him, he also smiled at her and responded to her question, the both of them left the mansion with smile on their faces as they drove past the bodyguards who were in awe to see thier boss smiling so broadly, it was as if it was the first time they were seeing rainbow making them fall in love with him, their boss was no doubt handsome but him wearing a smile could make everyone bow at his handsome ness.

"You look beautiful xue lin but why did you dress this much?" Aaron asked her while driving, he had noticed it when she greeted him this morning.

"Who knows?, that woman must be dressing attractively today since it's her first day of work to grab your attention so I have to dress beautifully so you wouldn't fall that easily for her" Xue lin said.

Aaron suddenly laughed making her wonder what she said that was funny, he found out that xue lin was being jealous even with her not knowing.
