I Should Trust Her Judgement
Jace's POV
I wake up a little late since it took me a long time to fall asleep thinking about Miracle. I wonder if she is thinking about me too; I want to talk to her, but I don't know how am I going to convince her that everything will be fine when her father fired me suddenly after I rescued her. I don't want Mira to hate her dad because I realize how much she loves him. I get up and made my bed.
The moment I go outside my room I can smell the aroma of bacon and I felt my stomach grumbled, and I saw my mom standing at the kitchen sink washing the utensils she used while making pancakes. She knows how much I love bacon and egg and pancakes in the morning, for me, they just a perfect combination.
"Good morning, Mom!" I greeted her, and she turned around, and I got so happy to see my mom smiling at me. I miss being with her and I felt guilty that I don't have enough time with her since I started my job as Miracle's bodyguard.
