Learning spells
"Bring the spell book over here" prince Lyle said and Gina stiffened, she gradually turned around to view Lyle who was leaning on the door.
Gina did hesitate to walk straight to him and handed him over the spell book, she then left his room. How could she fail a simple mission? What would she tell Lina?
"What happened?" Lina asked, her eyes full of curiosity "he caught me" Gina replied shortly "where is Becky and Naomi?" Gina asked "we are here my lady" they both replied simultaneously
"what happened? How come you didn't see him?" Gina asked "I don't know how it happened my lady" Naomi stated "it seems like he manipulated us" Becky blurted out and then covered her mouth.
They were all in Lina's room discussing when Lyle walked in without knocking, his gaze was intimidating as he accessed everyone in the entire room "leave" was the only word that left his mouth.
Immediately Gina, Naomi and Becky left Lina's room without much hesitation.
"What are you doing here?" Lina asked and she regretted saying those words "have you forgotten that you are at my mercy" "I'm ready for anything, I don't really care anymore, but the truth is you need me for the so called battle" Lina stated,
she was shocked that Lyle remained calm and reserved after she blurted those words to him
"I am not here for jokes, what spell can you perform?" Lyle asked "none apart from the disguise spell" Lina said and for a moment Lyle had a confused look, she tried to access his look but he quickly covered it with his hard face void of any emotion.
"Here you go, it's the spell book. Start by performing the self healing spell" "do I have to do it now?" "Yes" Lyle replied shortly.
Lina opened the dusty old spell book, she searched the table of contents and found self healing spell as chapter six hundred and eleven {611}, she quickly turned the page open and saw the set of instructions
First step: close your eyes and breath in and out, make sure you are relaxed.
Second step: with your two magic fingers {which are the index and middle fingers on the right hand} take it to the injured spot
Final step: say the magic word and relax yourself afterwards.
"I hope you understand the instructions? It's simple and not complicated" Lyle stated "what are you doing with a spell book?" Lina found herself asking "do the healing spell!" Lyle roared and Lina stared doing the spell.
First try but nothing happened, second, third, fourth, fifth, till her twenty third nothing happened
"fuck" Lina cursed under her breath but loud enough for Lyle to hear "I'm not trying again, my injury would heal by itself" Lina said giving up. Lyle hissed and walked up to her
"as long as you stay with me you have to learn five spells a day" Lyle's statement made Lina's eyes widened, she wanted to talk but her throat went dry
"I…I…I don't think I can do what you ask of me" Lyle looked at Lina firmly, he lifted her jaw up and stared into her pair of silver eyes, he bent his head towards her ear
"you can do it, I trust you witch princess" he whispered, his voice were sending shivers down Lina's spine. He stood elegantly in front of her
"Breath in" Lyle ordered and Lina obeyed "out" Lina left her breath out "close your eyes, don't think about anything. Be void" Lyle continued and Lina obeyed "your magic fingers at your injured ankle, say your magic word" he commanded and all that Lina did was to obey.
Opening her eyes, she stretched her legs and no pain. She performed the healing spell, she was extremely happy. Her happiness didn't go unnoticed by Lyle who just folded his arms on his chest.
"I never knew you teach spells" Lina commented "I will be your teacher" Lyle said "thank you for helping me" Lina smiled at him. Seriously speaking she was beginning to fall in love with him. She didn't know but all she desire was him "I will be going" Lyle said and left
Lina stared at him until he was out of sight, she had to say that he was hot, hot was even an understatement, he was breathtakingly hot. Lina wondered how it felt like being his fiancée or even his wife 'what the hell are you thinking, you know that this demon will never be yours so just forget about it' a voice in Lina's head echoed.
Lyle walked back to his room, when he arrived he found Peres "how long did it take you to give her a spell book?" Peres fired a question,
Lyle completely ignored him and walked over to his chair. "I asked you a question Lyle" Peres thundered and Lyle narrowed his gaze to him. "The witch princess can't perform the spell" Lyle finally replied and Peres was shocked
"you say what?" Peres asked but Lyle didn't reply "I think we return her and bring her sister or even her brother" Peres stated "why?" Lyle asked "so that she won't be a liability to us" Peres said
"I think you should focus on Gina while I focus on Lina and Pearl" "who is Pearl?" Peres asked "the fairy that we are going to capture tomorrow" "how do you know their name before hand?" "I calculate my ideas before I execute" Lyle replied shortly.
Lina went to Gina's room "Lina you are alright" Gina said "yes I'm courtesy; Lyle" she replied "how?" Gina asked "I don't know but he helped me out" Lina replied smiling
The following day
Lina woke up so early in the morning because she heard voices from the sitting room, she tiptoed to the sitting room and saw Lucian, Peres and Lyle. They seemed like they were preparing to go somewhere
"I hope the royal army is ready" Lina heard Peres ask Lucian "yes my lord" Lucian replied with a bow "without any much time to waste Lyle what is the plan?" Peres asked
"we ambush the fairies, you know that they are stubborn group of people they won't easily give in so we have to put them in a tight corner then we ask for the princess; Pearl" Lyle replied causing Lina's eyes to widen
"They want to capture a royal fairy, what for?" Lina asked herself "I know you are there witch princess, show yourself" Lyle voice filled the air causing Lina to stiffen
