FAIRIES, DEMONS, WITCHES
Lina was beyond shocked, why would a little girl ask her such sensitive questions, maybe she doesn’t know about the existence of witches, fairies and demons, she then remembered Gina’s warning about no witch, fairy or demon talk, they were all humans.
“Aunt Lina” Talia tapped her and that brought Lina back to present “Talia, I don’t know what you are talking about, I think you should ask you grandma, she is in the best position to answer that question” Lina lied through her teeth.
Talia let out a long breath, if no one was going to tell her who she is, she would have to find out herself, but that includes doing risky things and the last thing she wants is for her grandma to get scared of what would happen to her.
Lina gazed at the young girl who was lost in her own thought, she knew that there was something amiss but couldn’t tell what was that.
Talia knew that there was more to her existence, she needed to figure it out and she needed help but she bet that her grandma wasn’t willing to help her
“Aunt Lina, can we figure this out together?” She asked hoping that Lina wouldn’t decline the request.
Lina looked at the curious little girl, she didn’t know why she felt like letting her know about some things that humans shouldn’t be aware of
“Promise me you won’t tell anyone” Lina broke the silence between them “I promise”
“Not even your grandma” Lina added and the girl just nodded her head in agreement
“I’m a witch” Lina said “and?” Talia couldn’t wait to get more information, off course she knew she (Lina) wasn’t a human
“witches, fairies and demons do exists but I can’t really tell you what you are, I haven’t seen your powers neither do I know you historical background” said Lina
“What are the special powers you guys have?” Talia asked
“For us witches, we perform spells with our index and middle finger which is our magical finger. we have the ability to teleport as long that there is no strong force field holding us back, we also locate things all over the world in what is called a magical orb and find we are extra smart than humans. But there are some exceptions which are the royal witches, we have more power and what is called beast power or mode, more especially when you get them angry they tend to use their beast power on you, it’s a unique power, not all witches have it. As the queen of the kingdom she has the utmost power and could create a force field and also restrict someone from viewing a particular place she doesn’t want them to” Lina paused and her face darkened at the last statement, that didn’t go unnoticed by Talia, but she chose to ignore.
“For the fairies, well to be honest I would say that they are very cunny and that is due to their over smartness, they loving playing people, they have the ability to turn small, like very tiny, the size of a giant fly, they also have the ability to fly high in the sky. Unlike witches that use their magical fingers to cast spells, they use wands to do theirs. And for the demons they have the ability to to leap great heights, they can leap from the ground to the top of the roof, they are very manipulative and extremely strong, they have great strength” Lina explained
Natalia was just listening to her throughout their conversation and picking up the useful points “I think I am, a fairy and a demon” she blurted out
Lina’s eyes widened in surprise and then she began to laugh hilariously “seriously?! Like you are both a fairy and a demon at the same time?” Lina needed to double check “yep” Talia replied proudly
“Wait…wait!” Lina couldn’t complete her statement due to her laughter “you mean to say you are a fairy and a demon? What makes you think that you are both at the same time?” Lina asked
“First, I can jump extra high which is quite suspicious because humans can’t jump that high, I had to drop high and long jump in school due to this, and I’m also very strong, the demon characteristics best explains that” she paused and looked at Lina who was listening attentively
“And I also noticed once that I could turn small which was quite surprising then but after what I found out, it was no longing surprising” she added
“Well I haven’t heard off an half demon and fairy, but… I could help you find out what exactly you are” Lina suggested
“I would be so grateful if you do so” Talia’s face brightened up at Lina’s suggestion “but not today” Lina stated, she was stressed out and was trying to fall asleep when Talia started this sensitive discussion
Lina immediately layed on the bed and was about to fall asleep when Lucian bumped in
“We are having a meeting now, don’t waste any time, it’s urgent, and so you must know it’s about what’s coming”
