Chapter 25: creepy psycho

Inside the room, the bulky man threw her on the bed and Lianne tried backing away. When she hit the wall she knew she had no escape. The man gripped her and was about to kiss her when the door collapsed behind him breaking from its hinges.

The man quickly backed away reaching for a baton he kept on the table. He lunged towards Jordy who swooped an arm towards his stomach making him stagger backwards. Jordy wasted no time and hit him until he became unconscious.

He rushed towards Aj but unexpectedly, she continued to scream "leave me alone!". Jordy kept saying words of assurance until she calmed down. By the time she was back to the present, she leaned in to Jordy and cried.

Jordy carried her out of the place. He got to his car and laid her on the passenger seat gently before hooking her seat belt. He made a call and gave and order "take care of him" before cutting the call and moving to the driver's seat and driving off.

He had called the rest of the guys and upon Lianne's request, he said nothing about the request. He laid her gently on her bed before turning he stopped when a warm hand grabbed his.

"Please don't leave until I sleep off" Lianne pleaded and Jordy promised not to. He patted her until she finally slept off.

"I won't let anything happen to you again" Jordy promised and gave her a peck on her forehead before turning off the light and leaving the room. He didnt know if he just made a promise that he could keep.

The day of the competition had arrived and everyone was excited. Well some were nervous but still. Fans filled the seats in expectation of the match ahead. This was the first match of the season and this time, players from Korea, US, UK and other prominent countries were playing. Some even allied.

The first match of the season was between QGDZ and GDX.

"You guys don't need to worry yourself, rather you should count yourself lucky that the first team you're playing with would be easy" Alex said

"You shouldn't underestimate them just because they are a new team. For them to have made it to this try-out stage, they must be pretty good" Ricardo reprimanded

Both teams were lined up at opposite sides of the stage. They were still waiting to be called upon before entering the arena where their seats were positioned for battle. The fans were mostly enthusiastic about the revealing of QGDZ'S newest member. Up until now, they hadn't seen her. Even during the livestream against Kim Kyun, she had blocked her camera only letting them hear her voice.

Just as they were about to call them out, Jordy realized that Aj was tapping her fingers against her uniform. Each of the team members were given uniforms, which mainly was just a jacket with QGDZ written on it. Lianne was required to were a black skirt while the guys wore black joggers. Aj wore a black skirt which stopped at her knees with a white shirt that had golden decorations underneath the unzipped red and black QGDZ jacket. She wore navy blue knee-length socks in cool Nike sneakers.

"Nervous? You don't need to." Jordy said. "I know I'm just scared. What do I say?" Lianne replied and asked.

"You don't need to say anything just let your game speak for tou" Jordy said encouragingly as they all walked out after being called upon. Upon sighting the newest member of QGDZ whom most of the fans had named mulan because of her performance in her last match, all the fans enveloped the arena in screams and shouts.

"Mulan" was being said everywhere even amongst the fans of the opposing team.
