"Here's the prenup!"

Daniel proudly broke the ice and crossed his arms as the tall man tossed the papers on the desk. Meanwhile Aemii sat silently in front of him, totally unmoved by his actions. It was the day they both were freeing each other by divorcing, the mutual decision of ending the forceful marriage which took place a few months back under the pressure of Daniel's late grandfather.

The curtains flapped cautiously as the young man spoke, perhaps the air was terrified too upon the upcoming declaration. Ten bodyguards stood around the table with their heads lowered and gaze glued to the marbled floor out of utter sadness. Daniel Coulter the mouth watering Brazilian tycoon had everything within the snap of his fingers, he dealt all around the globe and was known to be a woman charmer.

Daniel Coulter had everything except the woman he loved_Aemii Malcolm!

"Keep your property and money, I don't want anything from you. You already wasted a lot of months of my life by marrying me."

Aemii dug the dirt once again, it was all on Daniel's part that they both forcefully got married. His grandfather wanted him to settle down immediately, and the potential partner he proposed was Aemii.

She was the daughter of his late family friend and old Suezaro took her in, however they had known each other for years. Aemii was the right person to pretend for a few years till the old man died. Although Daniel had no clue that she admired him and had been loving him one sided.

"Sure! Not like I would regret or miss you either."

Daniel waved her goodbye, as Aemii strode out of the office which was now his, along with the established business. She waved him back without turning, the woman took her bags and headed straight towards the exit.

As soon as she boarded the vehicle which was Aemii's property, the woman burst into tears. She felt her heartbeat becoming shallow and it hurt in her chest. Aemii cast a last look at the villa which was once her home but now seemed an altar of her emotions.

'I wish you would have loved me, Daniel. But all you ever wanted to think about is yourself and the wealth.'

Aemii was mentally prepared to uproot his thoughts from her mind. However they both had been tricked into the particular misunderstanding by Daniel's uncle. They both were a prey to the maliciously infested misunderstanding, and divorced each other without even giving their relationship a shot.

[A few months later]

"What do you mean by this, huh? Is this some kind of joke?"

Daniel yelled at the man who stood in front of him quietly, the atmosphere of the room had suddenly gotten chilly since the secretary brought up the news.

"I'm sorry sir, but the news is absolutely true."

He shot up from his seat and shouted at the man again, while he took the tablet and smashed it into the wall. How could the man swallow the big news that the only woman of his life, precisely his ex-wife, was getting married to someone.

"Are you certain that the groom is Richardson?"

Daniel questioned him again the other way, although actually he should have asked if his cousin was really getting married to Aemii? But somehow he could not figure out what to do. No doubt he had never imagined that his leftover woman would go and marry his cousin.

Well, it was Aemii who had left him by demanding divorce, but Daniel could not accept the fact that he was rejected by her.

"Yes, sir. I'm sure since the invitation card came from the Richardson' family."

The secretary spoke with a glint of sadness for his boss, he had seen how much Daniel had missed her. He turned impatient to find out her whereabouts since Aemii never went back to her own place after divorce.

Something sure had bitten the guy that he seemed to have undergone some change which had driven him crazy. After Aemii had left his place Daniel soon after returned home and invested his time in the business like a workaholic, and side by side he started to look for any woman who could share his loneliness.

No doubt Daniel was unable to comprehend that even with the aid of money and sources he was unable to find her.

'How can she do this to me?'

He mumbled to himself in the heart and a response came from inside showing Daniel the mirror of his deeds, he never treasured her and now when she had finally found someone who cared about her; he wanted to ruin everything once again!

'But what have I given to her? Tears and a divorce.'

Daniel had felt her absence which made him scared but now he wanted her back.

'So that's why I was unable to find her because she was in the protection of Richardson. But how the heck did they both meet?'

He had many questions regarding their so-called love story, but one thing was certain the guy wanted her back at any cost.

"Sir, what do you want me to do now?"

The secretary wanted further instructions and had no clue what they were going to be. Daniel had been standing in front of the full walled window silently for the past twenty minutes. The boss turned to him and with a sinister smile on his face he ordered his terrified secretary.

"Book me a flight to the avenue as soon as possible. I want to surprise my cousin."

Daniel sure had something going on in his mind which definitely wasn't any good, since the couple had two of his precious people. One was his family member and the other was his love! But hereby I ask you, was Daniel really in love with her this time? Or was there a string between them which had connected both of them?

[And no, it's not the kids. Your guess is wrong here guys, teehee.]

The secretary went away to prepare for the flight while Daniel turned his head to the wooden of his cabin, his expression soon turned dark yet mysterious after he opened the drawer. The man was indeed crazy that perhaps the book's name should have been 'Crazy fuck boy.'

He pulled out a gun from the drawer and beneath it rested their picture taken nearly nine months ago, Daniel took it out and stared at the beaming lady with the utmost beautiful smile which melted his anger at once.

"You have no idea how you affect me Aemii, you still hold the key to stir emotions within me."

He plopped in the seat and began to murmur to himself while he put the picture in front of him.

"How can I let you go to someone else, huh?"

He was determined to get her.

"I will surely win you back even if that requires quarreling with my own cousin!"

The man's expression soon grew darker after he recalled the news and something unsettling again stirred in his heart. He became restless to win his ex-wife back at any cost! But will Aemii still give him a chance, when her wedding was in a month?

The very next day Daniel flew to his cousin with a mission and determination. He was firm that Aemii broke his heart by cheating on him (as per the misunderstanding) now Daniel wanted to make sure this time it was her heart which would be crushed and broken!

Richardson was coming out of the villa and Aemii strode behind him to bid him goodbye.

"Hello dear cousin!"

It was the moment when Daniel greeted them both and startled the duo. Richardson was elated to meet his cousin and pulled him in a hug, whereas Aemii froze in her place seeing Daniel in flesh in front of her!
