HANEUL and Robin went straight to the first dance studio. It was located on a busy street near Gangnam Station. However, upon closer inspection, the studio didn't pass some of the requirements Haneul was looking for. The instructors didn't seem as experienced or patient, and the class schedules were quite rigid, making it less than ideal for his needs.
Undeterred, they went to visit a second dance studio located a few blocks away. This studio had a modern facade and seemed promising at first glance. However, Haneul quickly realized that while the instructors were experienced, the classes were too advanced and didn't focus enough on foundational skills. Additionally, the fees were quite steep, making it unaffordable for a high school student on a budget.
Their final stop was a third dance studio, tucked away in a quieter part of Gangnam, near a small park. As soon as they walked in, they were greeted by friendly staff and an inviting atmosphere. With a bit of observation, anyone could see that the instructors were not only experienced, but also incredibly patient and adept at teaching foundational skills in various dance styles.
The class schedules were also flexible, and the pricing was reasonable, making it a perfect fit for a high school student. The only downside was that the studio was a bit smaller than the previous ones, which meant limited space during peak hours. However, considering all the positives, this was a minor issue Haneul felt like he could almost overlook.
The name of the dance studio was RG Dance Studio. RG was short for 'Rhythm and Grace', as it was written on the sign outside. Finally deciding on this dance studio, Haneul and Robin proceeded to complete the enrollment process, filling out the necessary forms and selecting their preferred classes and schedules.
They decided to enroll for a month first. Because if both of them managed to pass the audition, then they had to start filming by June. Or maybe even earlier than that.
Due to Haneul's school commitments, he could only attend classes in the afternoons during the weekdays, but he had the flexibility to go the whole day on weekends.
After finishing the paperwork and paying the fee, the staff who assisted them asked, "When do you want to start?"
"I'll start tomorrow afternoon," Haneul responded.
"I'll be here in the morning," Robin added.
"Good. Then, we'll see you tomorrow. Once again, thank you for choosing us. Welcome to RG Dance Studio, Haneul-ssi and Robin-ssi," the staff said with a big smile.
When they walked out of the small building, the sun was alredy about to set.
Haneul turned to Robin. He was just about to ask if he wanted to have dinner at his house when a familiar voice called to him.
"Haneul-ah!"
He turned in the direction of the voice and saw his father waving from the driver's seat of their family car.
"Dad?" He rushed to the side of the car. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, it's already getting late, and I thought you might have a hard time traveling by bus, so I decided to pick you up," his father explained.
Even though his father tried to make it sound natural, the awkward smile on his face showed that what he said wasn't the full reason he's here.
Haneul didn't really need to ask why; it was obvious that his parents were worried about him taking public transportation when it was already nearing evening. This was something that would probably never happen in his original world. It was normal for boys his age to come home even later than this. However, in this world, being an Omega meant his parents' concern for him was greatly heightened.
A helpless smile crossed his lips. "Thank you, Dad."
A relieved smile appeared on his father's face, as if he was glad that Haneul didn't mind him coming to pick him up. "Alright then, let's head home."
"Dad, do you think we could give my friend a ride to his hotel? It's on the way," Haneul suggested.
Kang Hyunwoo looked at the young man standing not far away. He had heard about him from his wife—the Omega his son had met at the public audition. His wife had nothing but praise for the young man, so Hyunwoo also had a very good impression of him.
"Why not invite him to dinner instead? He could also stay the night. I'm sure your mother wouldn't mind," he suggested. "If he wants to go back to his hotel after dinner, I can give him a ride."
Haneul's eyes lit up at the suggestion, a smile spreading across his face. "That sounds like a great idea," he agreed eagerly.
So he turned around and hurried over to where Robin was standing to share the news.
