I quicken my steps as I walk past the reception. I don't want to trip. Not in the slightest bit.
It's the ultimate chance. Thanks to Dr Adams, who I feel like I owe her now.
She made all of this happen. I couldn't have done it without her.
I heave a sigh of relief as soon as I'm out of the hospital. It feels like for the hours I was in David's prison, I just forgot how freedom tasted like.
I'm in the doctor's uniform with a mask on. No one would easily recognize me. Which is why I have to hurry and get out of here before David realizes this and has his men follow me.
First It was a bigger risk walking past them pretending to be doctor Adams.
It might have seemed to be a long shot but it actually worked.
Plan was to exchange places with Dr. Adams and find my way out as soon as I can. Except we had to put on a little drama.
