Suspicious Aunt

Freya and Luke started towards the living room. Alice was still watching Sponge Bob Square Pants that she didn't realize that they had a guest.

"Alice, baby, come meet your other grandma." Freya said as she approached Alice that was on the couch. Her voice pulled Alice's attention to her, making her jump off of the couch and run to her mother's side.

"Aunt Barbra, this is our daughter, Alice." She said as she took her gaze away from Alice to Barbra who had a grimace on her face.

"Hello Alice." Barbra replied, forcing her lips into a smile, but not making any move to pick up Alice or move close to her.

"Hi!" Alice replied excitedly as she looked up at all the adults.

"I am sorry, I'm not very good with kids especially since I don't have any of my own." Babra made an excuse so as not yo get close to Alice as she glanced at Freya with an apologetic expression.
