Luke's Determination

And Freya was right. In a few minutes, she heard the door of the basement open and the sound of feet stomping down the stairs. Dr. David came into sight, looking angry as he approached her cell. "What is all this ruckus about? Sophie is trying to work up there."

She cringed at him as she said, "I need to go to the bathroom before I throw up here."

He scoffed, "Just do it there."

She glared at him, "You want me to do everything here while staying here? Do you want me to die from an unhealthy environment before you even get to do what you want with me?"

He groaned, "Fine! I will let you out, but you better not try to escape."

She didn't answer as she tried to hold in her vomit. She watched him as he pulled out a key from his pocket that looked like the one Sophie used to lock up Freya. He inserted it in the key hole and turned it before pulling the barred door open.
