"Mr. Gu, you flatter me," Zhang Tingmei smiled brightly and extended her hand.

Mr. Gu had planned to enjoy this handshake for a while longer, but Zhang Tingmei wasn't going to go along with his wishes. Instead, she gracefully gestured for him to follow her. "This way, Mr. Gu, please."

"Mr. Gu, please," I chimed in with a smile.

"Alright," Mr. Gu gave Zhang Tingmei a meaningful look, then nodded and walked ahead.

When we arrived at the reserved private room, I quickly signaled the waiter to bring the dishes and opened a few bottles of expensive wine.

"Who would this beauty be?" President Gu swaggered to the dining table and took a seat. He glanced at Zhang Tingmei and then at Liu Xue.

"Mr. Gu, this is Liu Xue. She is also from our sales department," I quickly introduced her.

"Hello, Mr. Gu," Liu Xue greeted him promptly.

"Oh boy, oh boy. Mr. Lin, you seem truly determined to win me over with these two beauties," Mr. Gu smiled.

"Oh, Mr. Gu, you're too kind. It's our honor to have the opportunity to cooperate with you," I replied and winked at Zhang Tingmei.

Zhang Tingmei caught on and quickly took a seat beside Mr. Gu. Liu Xue also sat down. One poured him wine, and the other readied his plate.

"Hahahaha, Mr. Lin, you really have a way with words," Mr. Gu laughed loudly, clearly delighted.

As the waiter served the dishes, I picked up my wine glass. "Let's all raise a toast together."

"Alright, cheers!"

After a few sips, I signaled Zhang Tingmei to pour more wine. Mr. Gu took a couple of bites, but his rough hand brushed against Zhang Tingmei's smooth leg.

"Oops, Mr. Gu, was that intentional?" Zhang Tingmei playfully slapped Mr. Gu's hand away and then picked up her glass.

"Why? Miss Zhang, would you like to have a drink with me alone?" Mr. Gu smiled.

"This is my first time meeting you, sir. Why don't we drink to that?" Zhang Tingmei bit her lip and smiled.

"Agreed!" President Gu was overjoyed and quickly poured himself a full glass.

Gulp, gulp, gulp!

I started to worry about Zhang Tingmei. Although I knew she could handle her alcohol well, it had only been a few minutes. If she kept drinking like this, she might get drunk.

"Alright, we've had our drinks. Let's talk about the business now," Mr. Gu quickly said.

Both Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue looked at me. I took a sip of wine before speaking slowly. "Mr. Gu, since you asked us for samples, our swimwear series should be quite popular in Hainan."

"Hahahaha, they're not bad indeed. However, there are many suppliers. Why should I choose your company? Don't forget, I'm a major clothing trader in Hainan, and my annual turnover is at least several billion dollars."

"Of course, but when it comes to swimwear, we are still more reliable," I quickly replied.

"Reliable? Our tourism industry is full of individual tourists. Most people buy swimsuits at the last minute and only wear them a few times during their trip. Who cares about brands? Your prices are on the high side," Mr. Gu said casually.

This cunning old fox! He's quite the character!

I cursed inwardly, but I continued to smile and said, "Mr. Gu, our swimsuits bring out the sex appeal in just about anyone. Women who lack confidence can become confident when they wear them."

"Sexy? How are they sexy?" Mr. Gu smirked at me.

I shrugged and gave a quick glance to Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue. They picked up the sample clothes and walked into the private room's bathroom.

"Hmm? Mr. Lin, why all the secrecy?" Mr. Gu seemed surprised, but excitement glinted in his eyes.

"Well, just you wait and see how sexy our swimsuits are. Otherwise, why would I bring two beautiful women here?" I chuckled.

"Hahahaha, Mr. Lin, I'm liking you more and more. You're craftier than the last time we met," Mr. Gu laughed.

"For the sake of our cooperation, I'm giving it my all," I said with a smile.

"Okay, let's have a drink," Mr. Gu said with a sly grin.

After a while, Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue reappeared in the private room, both wearing sexy swimsuits.

As soon as they walked out, I took note of Mr. Gu's extremely eager gaze. I couldn't help but be surprised by Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue's appearances. They were heart stoppers.

"Mr. Gu, how do you like it?" Zhang Tingmei said with a faint smile, and Liu Xue sat on the other side of Mr. Gu.

"Tsk tsk, it's good, it's all very good!" Mr. Gu was ecstatic, and his eyes sparkled.

"Mr. Gu, this is the sample list for this order. If you like it, you can place an order," I said, presenting the order contract.

"No, no, no rush. Let's eat first," Mr. Gu shook his head and picked up his wine glass.

Upon hearing this, I frowned. Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue picked up their glasses and drank a few more rounds with Mr. Gu.

"Wow, you two beautiful ladies can hold your liquor very well."

"Hoho, let's play a game. For every sip I take a sip, you guys finish one!"

"Wow, Miss Zhang, you sure are impressive. Let's do another one?"

After a few more rounds, I started to get angry. Mr. Gu was obviously planning to get Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue drunk.

Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue's faces were already flushed, and I knew if they kept drinking like this, they would definitely get drunk!

"Alright, as long as you two finish these two bottles of red wine, I'll sign the contract, and I'll order 1,000 sets of each series!" Mr. Gu continued.

As soon as he said this, Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue's eyes clouded over. They smiled awkwardly, but I knew they were at their limit.

"President Gu, I should show you some respect. Look at how hard my colleagues are trying!" I quickly tried to smooth things over.

"You? Are you planning to be a hero and save the damsels in distress?" Mr. Gu frowned. It was obvious that he was also drunk. He looked furious.

"Mr. Gu, I'm just drinking to your good health," I forced a smile, but deep down, I was furious.

The atmosphere in the entire private room started to freeze. Suddenly, Mr. Gu called the waiter over and asked him to prepare ten glasses of wine.

These were jaegerbombs.

"Ten jaegerbombs. Finish them all in one minute, and I'll sign this order!" Mr. Gu spread his hands and looked at me with a cold smile.

At first glance, the ten glasses looked daunting. I took a deep breath. Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue stood up to stop me. I signaled them not to intervene.

"Alright! To your good health!" I declared and quickly picked up one of the glasses.

Gulp, gulp, gulp!

My throat was on fire, but I immediately picked up the second glass!

Gulp, gulp, gulp...

One glass after another, I reached the ninth glass. My vision started to blur, but I still picked up the last glass and gulped it down.

"Good!" Mr. Gu exclaimed. Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue also stood up. They were looking at me in disbelief.

"Mr. Gu, the contract..." I wiped my mouth and looked at him.

"1,000 sets for each piece. I'm a man of my word," Mr. Gu smiled, and Zhang Tingmei took out a pen.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

After Mr. Gu signed the contract, I thanked him profusely. With Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue supporting me, we left the hotel.

"Brother Nan, are you alright?"
