The Jade!

They were surprised to see the feast like dinner in front of them, 'were they expecting guests today?' Emily asked herself inwardly.

what they didn't know was that Mr Smith got the news from his daughter's bodyguards that his princess was with the Brown boy so he purposely made all the arrangements even the car problem was his idea.

sigh!

When they got inside they were welcomed with extravagant dinner set arranged very neatly, and right then they thought something was off! this immediately made them realize what was going on, apparently they were set up by the old man from the start, they both sighed and follow him to the seats that he had especially arranged for them to sit that too close to each other.

Surprisedly the cunning man knew his favorite dishes and had the servants prepare them for him, saying nothing Leon obediently sat near the shy young lady who did not seem to ready to eat anything.

Not that her mask was getting on her way because it perfectly left her mouth and nose,in reality she had those ghost party masks that covered the area above her nose such that one could not see her forehead the side of her cheeks and the area around her eyes including her eyebrows.

There were rumors that she had a big scar on those areas that is from the left side of her cheek extending to her nose bridge to her forehead since they were covered all the time, others even said she had burned scars on her cheeks but in reality no one was able to verify their assumptions because she never allow anyone to look at her bare face not even her own father, he had not seen her bare face for so many years and he couldn't tell why she keeps hiding her face like that.

It was all silent inside that spacious dining room father Smith welcomed them to eat to their fullest, but one could see his mischievous smile as he look at the two quiet youngsters.

After eating for some time with nothing to bother him Leon became more relaxed but then suddenly he heard the man ask.

"Have you decided what you want to do?, " Mr Smith asked calmly as he wipe his lips with a napkin.

Leon was taken aback by the sudden question so he turn to look at the man like he didn't get him or wondered.

"Was he really going to talk about that in front of his daughter?" but the man seem to get him wrong so he frown before giving him a warning look.

"what we talked about at the hospital.. remember! you can never back out from your words or else I don't think I will not be more generous this time " Mr Smith said intimidatingly as he looked at him with serious face and cold glare but the young man seem very calm despite that.

With this kind of expression people would be scared to death but the young man seem very calm, for that Mr Smith was more interested in the man, now he was even more adamant to make him his son-in-law.

While they were at it suddenly two old people arrived, they were dressed so elegantly and with how they carry themselves and their look one could tell that they were one eye catching couple during their youth age.

"Tsk tsk no wonder no man is ready to marry our princess, cold man is that how you talk to your future son-in-law.. how scary!" grandma Smith said dramatically as she made her way towards his son who seem surprised by their presence weren't they still in a vacation when did they come back?

"Yes! if it was me I definitely would have escaped let alone marry his daughter, that would be much safe than this.. how scary" Grandpa Smith imitated his wife making their son almost choke 'this is embarrassing' he thought inwardly not sure how to face the young man, his parents were a bit dramatic people.

Seeing these two old people Leon got up and greet them politely as he introduced himself but suddenly grandma Smith pulled him close and pinched his handsome cheeks before examining his face carefully, she seem to be searching for something, this was so unexpected and everyone was taken aback.

" Honey you are making the boy uncomfortable"Grandpa Smith said unhappily, how could his wife admire another man when he was still there!.

"Now I remember him!!" She suddenly said happily before she let him go and take his hands before bombarding him with questions.

"You are The Jade right.."she said happily like a child who just received a candy that too the sweetest one.

Seeing this Mr Smith was even more embarrassed seeing his mother acting like a hard-core fan who just met her idol was an embarrassing scene that too in front of his future son-in-law.

"Mother he is not who you are thinking about" Mr Smith said trying to stop her from bothering the young man who seem very patient with the old woman.

"Don't interrupt me young man I know what I am doing"grandma Smith said sternly to her son before resuming her interrogation, on her face a sweet smile could be seen contrast to her feisty one before, now even Emilia got curious.

"What's wrong with grandma?" she asked in soft voice looking at her father.

"She has been acting like this ever since they came back from abroad she said there is an artist she took like, from then until now she has become a fan of his and whenever she sees his work she becomes like that" Mr Smith said with a sigh!

while they were gossiping they suddenly heard a scream, alerted they all looked at the source of scream only to find grandma Smith covering her mouth so quickly grandpa Smith went close to her and asked.

"Honey what wrong!!" He asked worried about her but her answer left him flabbergasted. 

"Harry I just met my idol can you believe it!" she said dramatically while holding him tightly.

"You are real my Jade!!!" She said excitedly making everyone sigh except Leon who helped her get sit as she was shaking after standing for too long.

"Yes grandma I am The Jade I never thought you liked my drawings that much next time I will make sure to bring you one"he said calmly leaving everyone surprised.
