He was disappointed

Hearing a loud band coming from the second floor the family went to see what was happening, only to be greeted with the sight of Leon grabbing Richard tightly with one hand while the other one was clenched into a tight fist that was aimed on Richard's face.

"What is going on here?" Mrs Brown said coldly, her eyes scanning her older son to see if he had any injury before she looked at Leon as if he was the villain unknown to her that simple gesture would change their relationship from then on.

Seeing his mother looking at him pitiful Richard decided to use this opportunity to show off, he started groaning in pain complaining to his mother pitifully making everyone there pity him.

"Look I know Richard can be a bit too much but you shouldn't have done that to him he is your brother" mother Brown said still looking at him as a hooligan no one took a note of Emilia who was curling at the corner of the bed clothes almost torn and expression never changed.

" Yes brother Leon please forgive brother Richard he is just not feeling well" Joseph said thoughtful piting his older brother who seem to be in pain unknown to them the guy was mocking silently giving Leon a message that

' did you see that! they are all by my side'

Seeing that Leon lost his strength right then even his grandmother wanted him to let go of her grandson that she said she was very disappointed by his actions, accusing him that he was fighting for family wealth, all this time nobody asked why he did what he just did or tried to listen to his side story and like eighteen years ago they were again wrongly accusing him for things he would never want to do.

He only wanted to be with his family despite everything he had chosen to forgive and be more understanding but in the end what did he get, distrust and endless accusations, he was disappointed!.

" What happened here Leon?" father Brown said coldly finally asking for explaination after all the accusations but before he could explain anything his brother beat him to it, talking pitifully and acting all innocently that he only came to check on his sister in law as he heard some noises from the room but his brother who suddenly returned started attacking him, hearing that everyone pitied Richard and looked at Leon as if he was a beast.

" Leon why did you do this to your brother is it because of the shares I asked you to return... is that why you take it out on him how could you be so heartless" Mr Brown said while looking at his precious son, carefully examining him, something he did never do to him unless forced.

Right then all energy in him was depleted these people really didn't care about him or his explanation looking at Richard who was silently mocking him Leon was lost of words.

Seeing all that he felt real hurt he couldn't help but shed bitter tears inwardly, making no sound his eyes became bloodshot red, his facial expression turning colder than frost mountain, seeing this everyone got alerted

what was happening now even Richard got confused Leon walked close to his grandmother with painful eyes covered by unshed tears.

" Grandmother as you have taught me, I have always considered myself as one of this family that I did even sell my soul just to make everyone happy.. but who would have thought that things would end up like this"Leon said bitterly who then chuckled a bit before continuing.

" I never thought I could be such disappointment to you grandma but now I think I can and it starts now with me leaving this house right now" Leon said seriously not waiting for any response he moved away from his grandmother slowly turning around and went towards the bed.

Everyone watched where he was going only to find out the state Emilia was in they were shocked

Leon said nothing to their curiousity as they wanted to know what happened to her but unfortunately the answer never came and Emilia didn't seem to be on her right state of mind to say anything Carefully Leon carried her up like a baby on his arms in front of all members of the family but she said nothing she did not make any sound she did not even seem to notice their presence.

Reaching the door slowly Leon made his way out of the room getting down from the stairs picking his pace..

He reached the living room everyone followed him not sure of what real happened because no one said anything, they wanted to ask him about it but Leon didn't stop as his eyes were on his wife who was on his arms, he reached the end of the living room ready to leave the house but before that he turn to face his father and said

" About the shares I have already transferred them to you so don't worry I won't be needing them" Lein said coldly pausing a bit before dropping the bomb in front of them.

" Mr Brown I'm sorry but I don't think I will be able to work at your company anymore, I will submit my resignation letter soon" Leon said coldly making everyone surprised of his altitude but he didn't seem to care he got out of the Mansion still carrying Emilia on his arms.

When he got out a very luxurious car was waiting for him outside, Joanna who a materialistic person saw the car and for sure the car was not a joke maybe worth their mansion building price

Everyone was surprised whose car was that even a person like Mr Smith can't easily afford such car unless he stock his year profit on it which was so not like it

Leonard got into the car without looking back , in the car was a man in black suit who obediently did as he was given a signal to drive the car

nobody said anything they silently left until the car came to stop in front of a pent house, it was one of the kind, the one that Mr Smith had gifted them when they registered their marriage.

The whole mansion was quiet for sometime not believing what just happened why was Leon behaving like that, did they miss something but they couldn't even ask Richard because the man had already fallen asleep due to excessive alcohol.

While they were lost soon came the family lawyer he had all the papers work that Leon had transferred all his shares back to his father and not just that something else shocked them Leon had given up everything the Brown family had given him even his job.
