Failed engagement

At City Galaxy Star hotel

A young man in a grey suit who seem to be in his late twenties was seen, he had dark brown hairs and his black eyes seem gloomy while his face was covered with sweat as he continued wreaking havoc and making a big mess in the luxurious hall, ruining all the decorations and arrangements meant for the party.

pah! crack!

Just then the sound of a glass bottle breaking was heard as the especially prepared expensive drink got thrown onto the wall by the man.

In disbelief people witnessed the unexpected turn of events happen before their eyes and that did not please any of them.

" Richard!...are you mad what do you think you are doing?" Mr Brown roared angrily looking at his mad son who seem adamant to ruin everything especially prepared for the engagement party meant for him and the daughter of the famous and wealthy Smith family. 

" Yes I am mad! ...do you think you can bribe me into this?, there is no way I'm getting engaged to that ugly girl" Richard said in raised tone while looking back at his angry father.

Not caring anymore Richard ruined everything there and he could careless what they thought about him, in fact this whole arrangements meant nothing to him.

And so what if her family was very wealthy and powerful, the girl was completely not his type and had a very bad rumour circulating concerning her appearance, then how could he be engaged to that kind of woman? he thought.

" Everyone knows how ugly she is and you still want me to get engaged to someone like her are you real my father" Richard continued to rumble and blame his father for arranging this union.

Mr Brown was taken aback and surprised by his son's ignorance and lack of virtue.

He was completely ashamed, how was he supposed to look at Mr Smith who seem calm at the moment despite what was happening but only he knew what does that mean.

The engagement party that was meant to benefit both families end up in a very bad manner leaving both families in bad terms.

Mr Brown was speechless seeing the level of ignorance his son had reached 'maybe because he had spoiled him a lot' Mr Brown thought regretfully,

But then how could he offend someone like Mr Smith, his family was one of the top five of powerful families in country G and have control over many areas in business world and even had the government's support, how could his stupid son not see this.

Offending him means not wishing to live well in the country especially with the family like theirs, though they were considered prestigious and wealthy family but they could not compare to the Smith family they were far inferior when compared to the Smiths.

" Mr Smith I'm very sorry for my son's behavior ...I know it my fault as a parent I should have discipline him well" Mr Brown said humbly afraid to offend the man even more.

But upon hearing his words Mr Smith's once calm face turn frost cold.

"Make sure to take care of this mess you and your family have created and if any of this affect my daughter in anyway then don't blame me for being merciless and for what I am going to do, I hope you understand that my daughter is the only treasure that I have and I won't let it go so easily after your son had insulted her like that" said Mr Smith coldly before storming out of the hall.

He was glad but also worried that his daughter has yet to arrive there or else she would have experience the shame and hear the foul words that stupid boy had spouted.

Initially Mr Smith thought that the boy was as sensible and thoughtful as his father but who knew that he was rather a fool like any spoiled playful young men out there.

Now he started regretting his decision to announce the engagement between the two families.

Although the news had brought a lot of benefit to his business after all Mr Brown was a very intelligent and hard working man that people trusted and in every project he designed turn out to be very successful ...but still his daughter was his first priority.

Thinking about his daughter why hasn't she come in the first place?

Taking out his phone he dial a number that he was sure to get the information concerning his daughter.

" Have you found her?" He asked coldly right after the man picked up the phone.

Earlier he was told that they could not see his baby girl in her room, thinking it was another trick of hers to skip her engagement party he had sent his men to search for her but..

" we are sorry sir....we haven't found her yet" The man on the other side said regretfully.

" Then you are all useless" Mr Smith said angrily before hunging off the phone call.

" where are you Emilia?" Mr Smith mumbled softly because he didn't like the feeling he was getting at the moment.

Something was not right why would his girl disappear all over sudden that too without a word, this has never happened before.
