53: Gold-digging 101

Natalie was just trying to get a read on Nova, she had written her off at first, guessing that she was with Leon Vaughan before she knew who he was but she quickly backtracked on that after seeing the way she was being treated.

Natalie was used to taking up space, she always commanded attention wherever she was regardless of gender but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't even hold either of the men's attention. Meanwhile, without even doing anything, Nova had them falling over themselves for her, she didn't like that.

"Leo and I are just friends," Nova replied, wondering why their orders were taking so long, she didn't like how she was constantly under the spotlight.

Natalie couldn't help but note the familiar way that Nova had referred to Leon Vaughan, her curiosity about the other only spiked but before she could ask more questions, their food returned, and the conversation shifted.
