Chapter one
"We are ruined." Mr Usher slamming the papers on to table his face filled with frustration and anger.
"What happened honey, why are you so upset?"
"Victoria we are ruined, the government ordered the bank to seize all our assets."
"On what grounds James ." Victoria Usher asked her husband with a pained look on her face
"Do you remember the contract we signed with Carrison Globals"
"Yes honey and what of it?" Victoria
"Turns out the company was just a front for money laundering and drug trafficking."
Tears roll down Victoria's face she couldn't believe what her husband was saying , she couldn't believe were about to loose there hard earned fortune "tell me it's a lie James ,we cannot loose everything just like that."
"I wish I could Victoria but the government has decided to seize all the assets of every company that was working with Carisson Globals and for us it includes the house , the cars all our lands and companies we have nothing , do you understand nothing left."mr Usher said falling to his knees in despair
"No this can't be happening , we can't go back on the street." Victoria said in tears
Just then Ariel walks in her family home to find her parents in tears confusion filled her face "what the hell is going on here?"
"We are ruined Ariel everything me and your father worked for is gone."Victoria usher replies her daughter in tears
"Huh,I don't understand mum why are you crying and why is dad on the floor ."Ariel asks with a look of concern and confusion with what was happening before her
"Read this Ariel , you will understand everything." It was bank notice stating that they were supposed to vacant the house in one week further more showed that the bank has seized all their assets
"I know you love Austin but a marriage between you and Kyle Greyson, seems to be the only out I would have never suggested this, if there was any other choice ." Victoria Usher suggests
"No mother I love Austin we dating have been for year now and last week he proposed to me I can't leave him."Ariel replies
Austin had piercing blue eyes on top of dirty blonde hair are masculine body a Roman nose and perfect pink lips all features that made Ariel fall in love . Austin and Ariel were high school sweethearts , he had always been there for Ariel , back when Ariel was nerd and people made fun of her and how she looked Austin always defended her always telling her she was beautiful.
Until there lost touch in college a chance meeting at coffee shop, reunites them and everything was back to how there were in high school, until they discovered they had feelings for each other and immediately started dating. it has been a year now and Austin had proposed how could she get married yet her body and mind belonged to another . How could Ariel forget year filled with beautiful memories of the man she loved to marry a man she didn't even know but loathed for ruining her life.
