For the next couple of weeks, Frederick had been lost in his own thoughts. All the while in the midst of being lost in the chaos, his treatment towards Audrey and his son had remained unchanged. He was still as attentive as he was before he found out the result and still quite dutiful of his responsibilities.
However, he was unable to shake off the disturbing thoughts that kept on snaking their way into his mind. These poisonous beliefs that kept on playing imaginary scenes after scenes, it started to threaten his relationship with his son, his best friend and eventually, it led to a trail he never found before.
