"STOP! Don't harm him," Evelyn yelled at the beast standing on two legs, who poised to strike his curled paw at his prey, laying under him.
Her steel-blue eyes turned into a golden colour and stared at the beast with a fixed gaze. Her voice held an authoritative tone. She looked like a moon goddess, beautiful yet fierce under the blue light.
The beast tilted his head in her direction and growled. He whirled around to assault his terrified target, who was only two inches from death.
"I said stop!" She yelled again looking furiously at him.
The beast snarled at her and ran into the forest, disappearing in the darkness of the forest leaving her in the moonlight.
Evelyn's body experienced a jerk. She slowly opened her eyelids revealing her blue eyes. The golden eyes had disappeared. She stood there trying to comprehend the situation and settle herself.
