My Tteokbokki!!

"Fired?" You and Jeongyeon exclaim at the same time.

"Yes, F.I.R.E.D. Do you get it now? And Jeongyeon what are you doing here? Go back and do your work. Or do you want to get fired as well?" Boss Yoo asserts as she glares at Jeongyeon.

Jeongyeon promptly gives you a worried look before turning around and leaving. Boss Yoo also leaves the area.

*Sigh* " I guess It is in my Fate not to work here. And I can't change fate. I can only leave." Afterwards, You leave the restaurant.

You keep walking down the streets unsure where you are going.

* Ring Ring* You hear your phone ringing.

You pick the call right after you see the caller ID.

"Jeongyeon, Sorry, Because of me you were scolded earlier." You say.

Jeongyeon reply from the other end " No-no, Don't apologize. You were fired so you must be feeling down but don't worry I will talk to Boss Yoo for you. Maybe she will listen-"

Before she could finish, You interrupt her " Don't! I mean You as well as I know her personality. If you push the matter further, it might implicate you as well. I don't want that."

Jeongyeon hesitates "But-" You still refuse " No, Buts. I can find a better job. You don't have to worry at all. Go back to your work otherwise, the devil will return."

After convincing Jeongyeon for a long time, You finally hung up. *Grrr* You grab your hungry stomach " Ah, I am hungry. Maybe I should grab something to eat later."

Then you see * Babi's Tteokbokki* on the way back home. You enter the restaurant and decide to pack the Tteokbokki rather than eating, so as to eat it with chicken which you bought day before yesterday.

You happily exit the restaurant and feel excited as you feel the delicious aroma of the freshly made teokbokki.

You think as you walk ' What if I lost my job, What if I feel sad about it..there is always food for me to heal my mood. But I said earlier that it will be no problem to find another job for me, but is it so?.. If it was that easy, I wouldn't have been jobless until now and fired by 3 restaurant..No is it 5 maybe 6...I should recount it 1 that Chinese restaurant, 2 that.."

As you walk deeply in thought, you don't notice someone rushing in your direction from behind. " HEY! You move aside fast."

A man with a cap shouts as he runs fast toward your direction while looking back from time to time. You were so deep in thought you even can't hear his shout resulting in him bumping into you.

*Thud*

The man stumbles and falls on the ground while You manage to balance yourself but your Tteokbokki falls and spread all over the road. " MY TtEOKBOKKI!" You exclaim in shock.

You look at the man who already got up and was running again with a fierce gaze, your heart raging in flames. Before you could curse at him in loud voice, you hear someone's shriek.

" THIEF!! He is a thief. The one with the cap stole my purse. Someone catch him." A middle-aged woman shouted as he pointed at the man who bumped into you.

"Thief?" You mumble. Without further delay, you begin to chase the man at your full speed.

"Sh*t" The man realizes you were running after him, he also sped up at a fast pace.

Despite jumping here and there, running into various vehicles, running on the narrow road..you continue to chase him as though his shadow. "D*mn she is faster than I thought. In this way, I would be caught-"

He looks back to see you, but you were no longer there. He heaves a sigh of relief but then he hears your voice " You would be caught? No-no, You are caught"

You kick him in the face making him see stars and moon in daylight. Then, You punch him hard as you vent out your frustration " You spilt my Tteokbokki all over the place. And you think I will let you leave just like that. Dream on!!" You say as you whack him more.
