Huff huff

I was healing myself with the ring to stop the bleeding until my mana reserves were empty

Then I took health potion and it healed my wounds enough to stop bleeding

I looked around to find only one door with light seeping through it and nothing else

After much rest i stood up and walked towards it but when I reached to grab the handle

I felt my instinct flaring up so I jumped back from the door

'What was that'

I looked at my trembling hands I was sure there was only death waiting for me on the other side

I was now tense and fully alert with my eyes fixed on the door

['Mana field' activated]

Mana spread throughout the room and I felt everything in the room

The black mud was at least five hundred meters deep

There were things visible to me now that I had 'Mana field' then what I saw with only my eyes

There were statues of winged beasts fighting with monsters with thousands of tentacles

And the door in front of me did not react to my 'Mana field' but my instinct told me not to open it

As if there was something inside it that will come out or take me in

In any case I decided not to open the door in front of me

I started to walk around the room and found various pictures and statues

All of the pictures and statues had one thing in common

That was war

The grey beasts with wings and long claws with horror inducing faces descent fighting with different creatures

The creatures themselves were no less horrifying

Some were large humanoid creature with thousands if not millions of tentacles and some were goats and many others

I was immersed in the story of the pictures and statues that I found myself staring at the last picture

The pictures like the others was carved in the black wall

But one thing was different in this one

It only depicted a figure of a lone man standing on a hill with his shadow reaching the bottom of the frame

His shadow were filled with countless teeth and eyes

It sent a cold shiver down my spine

'Its same as the 'thing' that broke out of the stone but its more like its complete'

It was like I was in a trance I couldn't take my eyes of the picture

The upper part of the picture was gone someone clawed at the upper part of the picture

Like he/she wanted to either forget it or were enraged at the entity and took it out on the picture

I felt something shift in me as I stared at the picture

I walked closer to it and touched it my gaze on the shadow of the forgotten figure

['Devourer' resonates]

Suddenly, the skill I got after absorbing that 'thing' awakened on its own and supplied mana to the picture

The picture glowed golden for a moment and the light traveled from the picture in the room

The whole room gradually lit up by the glow of all pictures and the statues

The black liquid reacted to the light and started to spin gradually turning into a vortex

From the center of the vortex a pieces of broken wood shot out then the black liquid started to calm down

The black liquid spread throughout the room and gathered the broken pieces of wood and pieced them together

Before long a simple wooden door with cracks was made

'...what just happened'

I checked myself to find any injuries from the wooden pieces but I was unscathed

I looked around trying to find a way out but besides the white door and the cracked wooden door there was nothing

Sigh

'Looks like I have no choice'

I walked towards the door and seeing there was no handle I pushed it open

The door opened and I saw a white hall with light brightly reflected off it

Taking a deep breath

'It a gamble'

I took a step in and seeing that nothing happened I walked inside

Creak,shut

The door shut behind me

'Shit ,now its looks like I have now choice but to move forward'

The the hall only had one way to go and I walked straight ahead

There was I faint golden door now In front of me

Huuu fuuu

CREAKKK,OPENS

I pushed the door and it opened revealing a mountain of items

I jumped around in happiness to get another hidden thing

One that allow me to get five items was worth it

Even of it is of trash quality it can be sold to traders

Its a win for me

I ran inside to look at the items and my eye spotted a red robe and a system window popped up

I looked around the giant white hall with various items floating around

I saw many good items and some excellent ones

'The higher rank ones emit more mana'

To not waste more time I activated 'Mana field'

While I found various excellent items but I found a penciler reaction from my left wall

I walked towards it and put my hands on it and it was a wall

I punched the wall with all my power and tried to push I but nothing happened

Using this theory I covered myself with mana and push on the wall

The wall resisted but I went through and was now standing in front of a small rusted door

I tried to pull it open but it broke

'It looks nobody has taken care of this place in a long time'

I used my fingers to open the door a little before opening it fully

I walked inside and saw items laying on the ground collecting dust
