14 Spare Job Skills and My Origin?

Time passed by at the speed of sound… Sort of literally but I just want to exaggerate, also it was going at the pace of a snail for me anyway… So, yeah…

It was actually maybe… I wanna say, day fourty-ish?

Yeah, day forty.

Anyway, on this day I have nothing to do after I completely memorized the fighting styles of the instructors, though I may not have gotten all of the fighting sales that I wanted or rather needed.

But any who. I now lack any sort of thing to do, as the other trainees refuse to spar with me after I laid another few one-sided beat downs on some cocky sons o' bitches. But I don't care, I'm getting closer to my team each and every day…

But having nothing to do is well… Boring, to say the least.

So I have decided to meditate and train my chakra, as well in my free time I would think of the story and how I can keep as many alive as possible as long as possible to the point of where all the trash is separated from what I truly want.

Almost all of the people in Empire simply must be disposed of, as these people can never be forgiven by the gods for their sins.

Even Esdeath will never be forgiven, but I will need her.

She can turn the entire tide of a war with a wave of her hand. It was said that her kill count reached well over four-hundred thousand.

A truly monstrous number.

Continuing on, my training also included strengthening my soul with a simple technique given to me by the system, it is far from being strong for now it will do though.

But I made a monstrous discovery… My soul, or rather my souls.

There seems to be many rather than one, and when I asked the system it gave a simple answer.

[You were created by a much more powerful being than yourself, I was created by that being just for you and you alone. That being also created many other souls that are also connected in the same way as you… And they rank at a higher tear than your soul. Such as number Zero it is the black soul, number One is the blood red one, number Two is the Golden one and so on. You rank in the top twenty and your color is the White soul… Not much more can be said than this.]

Sweat rushed down my forehead and dripped onto the snow where it promptly froze, the skin on my body began to wriggle and crawl while my blood ran cold and pumped at a great pace.

The terror of knowing that I and the system were merely created by some super being is unfathomable to me, yet all I can do is accept.

'System… Just how powerful is your creator?' This is all I can ask, it is what I want to know… Just where is the peak located at?

[The creator of yourself and the system, he is a being that rules over existence as one of the only Ten Axis-Gods. They are the beings that hold the balance of Existence in place… If a single one falls and is not immediately replaced, then all of existence can be toppled over as if it never were… No more than this can be said on his Identity, please do not inquire any further without enough strength or face being erased]

*GULP*

The saliva ran down my throat with a sour taste and ruined my mood.

'Just who the hell is that being? One of the Ten most powerful beings to ever exist in all of existence? Damn…'

I can only remain in a statue like state until the fear of remember such information had left my mind for the time being, it was far to much for me to know.

--------------------------------------

After an hour of fully focusing on calming myself down from learning such dangerous information, I decided to return to saving as many as I can… That are worth saving of course.

For now I will focus on these three as I have no control over the rest, for now at least. But later on I can have them play in my hands if I move their pieces just right.

The three of them are far to damn innocent.

When they had no money, they just let themselves into the manor of a random noble in the capital. That was a mistake that literally cost two of them their lives, while the third only survived due to the intervening of Night Raid.

So for now I decided to teach them how the real world works… But how?

Then like a bag of bricks, it came and hit me over the head.

The fact that I do not have to teach them, I only need to teach them skills that can lead to them being able to get themselves out of such situations themselves.

And with that my heart beat rose my skin turned slightly rosy and a smile spread from ear to ear on my face.

I will have them learn extra skills.

With but a simple push to the ground I rose to my feet and walked toward the hut where those brats studied, I decided to make life hell for them from this day forward.

---------------------------------

After entering the hut I went straight to the instructor and spoke my mind.

"Instructor, I wish to inform you that I have decided to focus my studies on the art of Blacksmithing and I will be heading to the smithy now." I said it in such a tone that he knew I was saying it as fact and not asking for permission.

This tone brought a small shock to him and so he inquired as to elevate his curiosity.

The other three watched on in curiosity as well, why had I made such a drastic decision.

"And why the sudden idea? You are very adept at using weaponry and so I believe it would be best to stick with what you know."

I looked him in the eyes.

"The answer is very simple. This world is much more dangerous than one can ever say, and so… What if one day, I were one of the weak? Then what? A warrior who cannot fight a war is of no use. But a Blacksmith, with tools and ore can be useful even in times of peace or war."

He was shocked at my simple and straight forward answer.

'What if I were weak? Or, what if war were no more? Then what can a blade wielding maniac do?'

He gave a stern look and nodded his head greatly.

Then without a moment of hesitation looked to the other three.

"You three will also do as such, go and find other skills to practice. Peace will reign after war and then the three of you will have no way to make money for yourselves. So do as Rei does and find a way for you future."

They were shocked… But only because they have much more work to do.

And even so, these three and myself are extremely mature for our ages. I have no idea, but this may be connected with the fact that in these world the people are many times stronger than from my world.

"Mm, then allow me to choose their paths Instructor."

He was a little skeptical but allowed me to do so.

Without even a moment of hesitation I chose their future.

"Tatsumi, you will go to become a merchant. Your youthful face will have others think you are immature and give you an upper hand. Ieyasu, you are suited for hunting beast and animals so you will become and hunter and learn how to hunt down prey that is far more deadly than yourself. Sayo go and become a herbalist and alchemist, with these teachings you can always know how to patch someone up and protect yourself even in the worst case you can sell your supplies for others to use."

Now the Instructor wanted to get down and kneel as I had plans that suited the three of them so damn well it could cause the world to shake in fear one day.

'Tatsumi can learn to see through others and lies, Ieyasu can gain a great danger sense and Sayo can smell poison or other herbs/drugs that can be harmful. In battle Tatsumi can slowly figure out the patterns of his enemy quicker and gain insight into their mind, Ieyasu can become an assassin that knows how to truly hunt his prey and Sayo can become a master of poison that no other could match all in due time.'

My plan was perfect, and these three were already stressed for their futures.

'''Why are we friends with this training maniac?!'''

Is all they can scream in their hearts, with a bitter look on their faces.
