Chapter Sixty-four : I love New York City

Rebecca asked the drive to drive round the city , on the way , she explained a few things regarding some buildings and some fun places .

Azula was astonished , Los Angeles wasn't as busy as New York City , it was a reserved and neat area .

Just as they where strolling , they saw a crowd." What's going on?"Azula asked.

" Usually , when a crowd gathers like this in this place....there's gonna be a street performance so maybe they could be selling tickets for an occasion.

" Why don't we go take a look....I'd love to see some performance"

The duo went forward and manged to make their way through the crowd .

Luckily for them Rebecca was right about the reason for the whole gathering.

" Thank you , thank you.....right about now , we have a very beautiful singer... he's using this as a medium to raise funds to feed...you wanna see this great performance , please fill his money jar here" An elderly man said tingling the jar .

Lots of people dropped pennies , coins and dollar notes into the jar as the the supposed singer climbed the little wooden podium with his guitar and microphone.

He cleared his throat and tested the microphone and his guitar before he opened his mouth to introduce himself . " Donnie McLain....this song is a special song , I hope you're gonna like it "

His guitar strings where tapped and soon his fingers graced the string like he was caressing it smoothly , the sound which emited out of the guitar was so pleasing and melodious , it was enchanting.

Azula was amazed at the way at which he played the guitar gloriously. It made her remember Maximus in L.A. Speaking of Max , where is he now ? .

Well , that was none of her business.

" Wise men say...

only fools rush in .....

But I can't help ....

Those where the first things the guy sang and almost every lady felt touched , it was as if he was singing the song to their heart and soul.

" Oh...yeah...show me the meaning

Of being lonely...."

Wow!

Apparently the guy was mixing different songs together and the combination was quit sweet and melodious to their ears.

" I would be your hero baby....

Yeah....I would reach the sky for you....

Id be loving you forever "

People started dripping more cash into his jar , Azuka was moved too.

She quickly searched her purse and took out 20 dollars and donate it to the guy , Rebecca also dropped some money for the guy.

" This place is nice " Azula said and smiled sweetly.

Just then the guy finished the song and quickly took his money jar and placed them in his guitar bag.He bowed to the audience and moved into the crowd , just as he was walking , he caught a sight of a slender and cute lady standing near another one who seems older than her , the looked alike

Where they sisters?

He looked at her and then moved towards her .

As Azula was getting back to her cheerful mode to cheer for the singer , she turned around and her eyes met a pair of golden-brown eyes which shine brightly as if he was piercing into her soul from his look.

Their eyes locked for a moment and time seemed to stop before the guy finally cleared his throat and approached her .

" Hi "

" Uh....hi? ".

" I just saw you as I was about going . My name is Chris "

" Oh , okay Chris....you were great back there "

" Thanks , you don't seem familiar, are from abroad?"

" You could say that".

Seeing that she was like a third wheel in a date with two lovers , Rebecca cleared her throat to make herself known.

" I'm sorry , forgive my manners "

" I guess you're so enchanted by my sister " Rebecca said and the guy bowed his head in embarrassment.

" I'm sorry , I guess I was too engrossed in getting to know your sister....I hope you don't mind ?"

" It's okay.....you two could just exchange contact or get her social media , user name so that you can chat online "

" This is my number , let me have yours and I'd call you , maybe we could see some other time again " Chris said smiling , his smile showed an exceptional set of dimples which made Azula's heart flutter , after exchanging contacts and social media , the duo left to get into the Porsche because it was getting late.

" Any updates Fred " Xavier asked Fred as he was strong bored .

" Yes sir.....I'm sorry sir and didn't want to anger you more since you were already raging from work .....I got news from my men that Park was seen at a park"

" The hell.....what was that old hag doing there?" Xavier asked as he clenched hi teeth in anger .

Mr Park was the main reason why so many if his company workers got sacked and kicked out today. The man had actually prepared for years to cover throw him or destroy his company by planting his people or spoiled ng the mind of his workers, threatening them and even bribing them.to support his campaign.

" It seemed like Young Miss's brother had taken his girlfriend for a date and Park traced them there , I'm just assuming Sir " Fred said .

" Hmmm.....that means we need tighter security"

" I would agree with that sir....but....I think we should just be in the look out , I'm sure the man is planing something evil"

" Hm... where's my woman?"

" She's heading home , she and her sister went for a tour around the city after work"

" Good....continue keeping me updated , your men should be in the look out for any dangers....they should do their job well... nothing should happen to anyone under my care "

" Ahh....I can't believe we are back already" Azula exclaimed as she bounced on the luxurious sofa in the sitting room.

" So how was it , do you like New York City?"

" Like?...I love New York City!"

Just then , the door opened and a cold man came into view , Rebecca felt that chill and immediately knew that something was off with her finance.

" Welcome" She said and walked up to him and hugged him.

She wouldn't like Xavier loosing his temper or complaining of how hethic work was .

" Hmmm" Xavier said as he finally hugged the woman back.

He looked at her big tummy and smiled he rubbed it lovingly and kissed it making Rebecca chuckle .

Azula just meekly left the living room for her sister and her husband-to-be.

" I missed you today" Xavier said as he looked into her eyes.

" Hmm....me too, so how was your day ?"

" Stressful and disappointing" Xavier said with a sigh.

" What happened??"

" I got to find out that Park had been planing a revolution behind my and my parents back...paying people , bribing and threatening my workers to support him to over throw me and take over the company or destroy the company....it was so annoying"

" I'm sorry love....so how did you solve the problem?....sit " Rebecca said as she pulled him to the chair and untied his knot and took off his suit .

" Raymond and I made sure many of them who embezzled company money and weren't diligent towards work were sued , those who were threatened where pardoned but sacked!, the ones who voluntarily joined and those bribed were sued too "

" Hmm....how wise of you , so , what do you want for dinner....I can see you're tired and stressed out" Becca said as she kissed his lips softly and tenderly.

" How about I eat you?"

" No....we can't do it , it's not safe for them , besides we should go for the scan"

" I agree but let's wait some more I heard from some experienced people that when they're seven months old , it would be more visible and able for us to identify the genders of our triplets " Xavier said smiling with pride as he stole Rebecca's stomach again with love and care .

" Everyone would soon be down for dinner "Becca said and stood up taking her bag and her husband-to-be's clothes into the room upstairs.

" Let's take a shower together" Xavier suggested immediately they entered the room .

" Okay... we're just gonna take a bath together , nothing more , I'm starving "

" Hmm , okay"
