Emergency in the Night
The night passed quickly as the party enjoyed their free time, eventually making their way back to Wikkun Resort. They were divided among three dorm rooms, each offering four beds despite the girls getting a whole room to themselves.
But the party members retired for the night at varying times. Surprising the others, Orsen was the first to tuck himself into bed, followed by Ayjen. Jash and Kriff later left for the same room after sharing some drinks with the rest of the party. Around the same time, Willo and Nelphy went to their room as well. Then, Zac was next, leaving the oldest party members alone at the bar.
"... Learn anything interesting?" Bolton asked while swirling his whiskey glass.
"A couple things. But nothing concrete. Things seem alright on the surface. Yet fewer people have been going to the ruin than usual, even before Lightning Chateau started getting any reports," answered Bil, downing another of many, many drinks.
