"U-uh…" Jash stammered, completely caught off guard. Being offered such a chance so quickly was almost too tempting to turn down. And to hear it from an estate elder made it even more so. "I… I had already planned and promised to train under Magma Pavilion."

Squinting, Elder Perta wasn't so easy to sway. "Have you already undergone their test?" 

"No."

"Have you already received your estate robes and your first gifts from the estate?"

Jash shook his head again.

Elder Perta smiled, "Then you've made no official promises as of yet. So, if you would like, you're welcome to take my test to become a core disciple inside Sky Peak, with the chance of becoming a direct disciple should you accept."

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that…" Jash answered with a humble bow. "But I would like to train at Sky Peak after joining Magma Pavilion. Given my affinities, I feel it would be best to train with you both if possible. But…"
