Appreciation and Awkwardness

Taken aback in silence, Ayjen just nodded. 

"Speaking of Bil," Nelphy cut in, "is it true that he's back?" 

Smiling wider, Kriff replied, "Yeah, he got back late last night. He's probably busy cooking right now."

"Why's that?" Jash asked. 

"If you're planning to stop by, then you'll see for yourself," Kriff chuckled.

To the surprise of most, Wilo was the first to rush off of the bleachers. "I want to see him too. I've got something to tell him, so can I join you, Nelphy?" 

"Then I'm going too!" Orsen leaped down. 

Glancing at Kriff, Ayjen asked, "Do you mind if I tag along as well? One more person shouldn't hurt, right?" 

Bounding to the ground and breaking into a sprint, Jash shouted, "You all do what you want. I've got a couple questions for him, so I'm heading over first!"

Nelphy sighed with a smile and followed her twin brother. Kriff ran alongside her with the others keeping up as well.
