It was that time the Queen became indeed interested. "But how does that make her so strong?". The Princess asked with interest in her Mother's secret. "Let's just say that when you face danger, what would you do? Think of a way to stay alive isn't it". I said to her. "Yes that's right". The Queen says with agreement to my statement. "Thus, in order to survive, a person strengthens his resolve to do so". I said as I paused for a moment. "But doesn't change you have resolve yes but won't the person be in bind if he's weak?". The Guildmaster said with conviction.
"Guildmaster how did you become strong?". I asked him thus avoiding the question. "Well, I frequently tepeat going into a dungeon as I subjugate monsters". He answered at me. "Instinctively, if a person was in a bind with will to live he'll use every possible solution to escape death". I said to him that made him think. "That's very clever thing to say, i did use everything I've got when I was a amateur". The Queen says. "Now, Guildmaster if we apply that method you have, frequently facing of a near death experience, A person would Gain Mental Strength to face it". I said that made them realize something.
"So that's how it works, now it even makes more sense because frequently a Rookie or a pushover were overconfident in doing a quest, but upon facing a monster, they alwqys end up being crippled and dies from being ravaged". The Guildmaster stated that supports my explanation. But then a sudden question have echoed like a shockwave from an attack came in. "Uhm, sorty but what were you talking about?". Merleona asked that made me bow and hold my head. "They were talking about how did the Queen honed her ability that leads to them speaking of those adventurers who have fallen unto their deaths because of weak mental strength to survive". Eugene explained to her that made the Queen, Guildmaster and Princess look at me so I shake my head.
"Sorry for that, she isn't really that good at catching up into a discussion, please understand". I said that made the Queen chuckle. "Don't worry, I understand truth to be told I did came across someone who has a condition like hers". She said that makes me feel relieved upon hearing her. "So Her Highness knew how difficult it is to have someone like her". Kitsune said with her gloomy voice. "Yes indeed, you really need to tell carefully what was the discussion or else it'll be messed up, but somehow pretty reliable in some sort of things". The Queen said with tone as if she agrees with Kitsune. With Thet thing and our main objective being settled. "If you may allow us, Can we go home now your Highness?". I asked the Queen but seeing that it was dark she disagreed. "You can stay the night here, as a compensation for the inconvenience we caused". She said instead. "But is it really fine?, I mean we were commoners so allowing us to stay here might bring you trouble". Eugene says wit hesistation and concern about the possible outcome.
"Oh please you shouldn't worry about them, that might even help us clear this mess". The Queen says with assurance. "What does that mean? Your Highness". The Guildmaster asked to clarify his understanding. "Well, after what happened today, those Nobles would be in a bad condition, those this Ogre's accomplice I mean". She uttered. "Well after this incident they'll be in bind so they'll be desperate and oppose Her Highness' ideals, so having us here might uncover their mask". Kitsune says. "Such brilliant thinking, are you sure you're a Commoner?". The Queen uttered in interests. "Indeed I am Your Highness, Even though my Mother is of a Mystical Beast, my Father was a Commoner Human". Kitsune Replied. "How intriguing? such group of person with bloodline of great personalities, That'll be rude for you keeping it secret after knowing mine aren't I correct?". She said thus making us cornered.
"Then no choice to be done but to tell". I said with me mustering to clear my throat. I said introducing myself but at that point they so shocked not uttering a word. "This is Eugene Kagetsuki as you have known already". I said as I hold Eugene's shoulder and proceeded introducing. "This is Valerie Elvius The Elven Princess". I said that make them so surprised. "A Princess". The Guildmaster upon hearing yit as I took off her hood revealing her pointy long ears and her golden yellow hair.
As they regain their composure I continue to introduce ourselves. But I was interrupted by Kitsune. "Let me introduce myself, I am Kitsune Kurama a Foxnewt". She said but then the Queen sweat from hearing her name. "What's the matter, Your Highness?". The Guildmaster asked. "K-Kurama! you mean you're that Beast Fox Queen's Child?". She uttered in surprised. "Yes I am, does Her Highness my Mother's Acquaintance?". Kitsune asked thus the Queen heaved a deep breathe. "Sort of, I mean I was one of those who restrained your Mother from being her Anger". The Queen stated thatvintrigued us. "Why would my Mother be Angered?". Kitsune asked The Queen.
"Well that's a very quite a simole matter, Because of her Jealousy to a Girl who is Hiru's Sister that she thought was his lover, She nearly wiped a mountain, remembering it She also think I was one of his Woman". She stated as she shake her head uponu remembering it. "Well A Mystic Beast were Greedy and Protective lover but I'm different I know other girls would fall for him". She muttered upon hearing her Mother's doing and looked at us. "But, of course if He did do a unforgivable deed, I might end up splitting mountains Iguess". She said with serious tone. "Well, well, well then good luck in satisfy your harem, Lad". The Guildmaster says he winked at me with a meaningful look. "Then so I am Merleona The Goddess Of Magic". Merleona confidently said but she recieved a Doubful look. "I didn't expect in the slightest". The Queen boredly says. "Neither we are at first". Valerie said as agreement to the statement. "Eh! How cruel, why were every doubting me, Am I that not a Goddess-like person?". She asked but recieved a gloomy face. Well I wont dare to answer that too. She did have a dignified Ara Ara figure but her childish personality gives it away.
