Jareth's words were clear and confident.

With those words, Jareth made it clear that he had no interest in taking the seat of the head of the Blaze family; moreover, he wanted nothing to do with the Blaze family either.

Before Reynald could come up with something else, Jareth continued,

Hearing those words from Jareth, the smile on Reynald's face returned.
