Chapter 22: New Feelings
(Reagan’s POV)
As we had been driving home from Griffin International, all I could do was keep glancing at Alexander. When he would catch my glances, he told to give me a beaming smile, that freaked the hell out of me. I mean he was more gorgeous when he smiled but it was still freaky nonetheless. Ever since he had been named the CEO and when he announced he was giving me a quarter of his shares. I couldn’t explain it but there was something different about him, something I couldn’t explain.
Now we were sitting on the couch in the living room, the only light in the room coming from the candles that were burning, each of us with a glass of wine in our hands. We hadn’t said a word to each other since we had gotten back. I found myself not as angry at him as I had been before, maybe it had to do with Alexander’s strange behavior.
“What is in that mind of yours? You seem to be far away.”
