Fake Human

It has been traveling throughout the vast Milky Way Galaxy in hopes to find a suitable planet to hide within. Now after hundreds of years of search, it has finally found a suitable planet called 'Earth' where beings called humans reign on top of the food chain, but that is soon to change with the landing of a capsule from outer space. Within this capsule, an entity steps out. Who is the new Apex Predator now? And what is this alien's goal? This is my first novel and I would appreciate your objective feedback (It will be heard and taken into account), after all, what am trying to do is improve my writing in hopes of giving my readers an immersive and enjoyable adventure.

Arriving at B-456

'System, identify that planet'

[Planet identification complete]

[Planet B-456 is a planet within the lesser dimension, therefore making it a lesser planet]

[The Force energy within this planet is scarce in comparison to the planets of the high dimension]

"I see, this might make my plans a bit harder but I cannot be picky"

"Start capsule dive" I commanded for the system to operate the ship while I entered the extraction capsule's cabin.

I've been traveling for who knows how long. I finally found my target.

B-456 will be my next target. Although I have been severely damaged, and my data has been reset. I am still a Vetomian after all.

We are race or galactic beings that eliminate opposing forces and conquer planets throughout the entire Universe with overwhelming strength.

I will not fail.

[You have entered B-456's orbit]

[You will now be extracted]

As soon as the robotic voice faded, sounds of something opening against a strong oppression could be heard.

"Do it"

Phewwmm!

The gian ship opened it's compartment, from which the dive capsule shot straight down towards planet B-456.

As soon as the capsule exited the ship, it started to catch on fire like a meteor would, after a few seconds, only a ball of flames could be seen.

"Mom, look, a star!" Said a kid looking up at the dark sky of the night.

"What?"

"I don't see anything" Said the boys mother who has turned around before going into their apartment but there wasn't anything as she looked up.

"I swear, there was a star going in that direction!"

"Jay, don't swear!"

"Now go inside, it's time for bed"

The boy had a rather reluctant expression but in the end he could just sigh as he went inside.

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere

BOOM! FUUUU!

Smoke, dust, fire all danced within a single giant crater that was at least 100 meters in radius.

Psss!

It took a while but the smoke and everything else that came along with the explosion started to dissipate. At the same time, the object that has caused all this with it's impact opened up.

A silhouette steep out of it.

"Hmm, that was quite the landing"

"System, activate the ship's camouflage"

[Understood… Done]

"Now then, where am I?"

[You're at the premises of a local civilization of intellectual beings called Humans.]

"Humans?"

[Yes, they are the main predators of this lesser planet. They are the most intellectual and sociable beings in B-456]

"How strong are they?"

[Albeit, a human alone doesn't pose too much of a threat, their strength as a group is decent]

"They rely on numbers. Quantity over quality"

[Yes, but there are some humans that the host should be careful about, they stand at the pinnacle of the power scale]

"Alright"

"Data"

System Lvl 1

Name: Voros

Race: Vetomian (Level 1)

Gender: N/A

Age: 450 years

Strength: .70

Agility: .80

Dexterity: .80

Endurance: .60

Innate Skills: Eye heat rays level G

Super strength level G

Super speed level G

Gained Abilities: None

Transformations: None (No evolutions have been achieved)

I can upgrade my abilities as I level up but due to my previous fight, I died even though I defeated the enemy. If it wasn't due to my race, I would've fallen into eternal slumber, forever.

However, everytime I come back to life, my data is reset back to Level 1 and my gained abilities, along with my innate ones, are brought back to level G.

The highest level is S+ while the lowest being G-.

Before I died, I only managed to raise my abilities up to level B+. I told myself that I would put as much effort as I could into my second chance, in order to not die, and to never have to reset again. To never feel this weak, ever again!

Voros stood tall and firm. His gaze, wary and solemn as it scanned the surroundings.

"I don't detect any life forms except for these dumb creatures"

I couldn't see anything in the vicinity except for beings that didn't seem to possess a high intellect.

"Map"

A 3D holographic model of B-456 appeared out of Voros wrist.

"Glad it still works" I sighed in relief at the still functioning watch on Voros wrist.

This wasn't any watch but an extremely advanced artifact which showed it's wieldier a detailed 3D model map of the planet where the user was currently at.

The user could zoom in, zoom out, and rotate the model in every way possible for a more efficient interaction.

I did some quick motions and found a red dot within the model which signaled my position.

"So, to the north, there's the city of Alexandria"

"It's the closest place and by the energy vibrations, it must be filled with humans."

"How do I mix within these humans looking like this though"

Voros was a being out of this world and so it might be the best to show who he is.

He stood at 8 feet tall, with pearl white skin that had a thin tech armor texture to it. Red veins that could be seen glowing under said skin.

Red eyes and no mouth, truly something that didn't fit with this planet's ecosystem.

Voro's legs resemble that of the hind legs of a lion with only three toes, but with no fur, and longer claws.

System, can I use my innate shape shift ability to absorb a human and take on their form?

[The host can indeed do that if he wishes]

[But keep in mind that the host will need to kill a human to then absorb it and take their identity]

'That should be easy as long as I don't pick a strong one'

As soon as he resolved himself, he started to walk towards the north.

I landed a few hours ago, and it seems like the sun is about to rise out of it's hiding.

I haven't seen a single human yet, but these roads should lead me to a city. I would be lying if I said that my eagerness wasn't getting the best of me.

I kept walking for two more hours when I finally saw a city, full of bright lights, buildings tall enough that the clouds covered their tops.

"Finally"

Feww!

I couldn't wait any more, I needed to see these humans. I also needed to find a suitable body.

Inside a very luxurious office within one of the top floors of the highest skyscraper within the city of Arcadia.

This skyscraper had three huge white neon letters outside it's completely covered and black structure. They said 'GIU'.

Knock! Knock!

"Enter" A calm voice ordered from within the office.

A middle-age, dark haired man with blue eyes entered the office.

Another man, a seemingly much older one was seated behind a brown desk with piles of papers on top.

The older man didn't even look up at the one that had entered.

….

"Are you going to say something, or just stand there?"

The man in the chair asked with a calm voice.

"Sorry, sir, I just received a report of something inhumane that entered the city."

"Then why are you here, send a few hunters to eliminate it."

"Th- The thing is, sir, that the monster is a humanoid one."

The man behind the desk finally raised his head to look into the man's eyes.

"Send hunter Milena" ordered the man with a now serious tone.

"Yes sir!"

The subordinate hurriedly left the office, leaving the one behind the desk alone.

'Another humanoid specimen? Or is it someone with a transformation ability? We'll have to check once they capture it, or him'

As I moved through the dark alleys of this city, I could sense humans following me everywhere I went. I tried losing them, but with my current data, that seemed impossible.

'Can I fight them?' I wondered as it seemed like there wasn't any peaceful way of escaping

A confrontation was inevitable!
