Chapter Two

Jing Xi laid down on her bed

Jing Xi laid down on her bed after her conversation with Xin Yinrou ended, and she massaged her forehead with her palm.

She felt so tired from her day in the office, coupled with the betrayal she still felt about her fiance cheating on her with her friend. She was a fool not to have seen it coming. The signs were f*cking there, but she had been so blind.

Yes, she was blindly in love with the bastard. But luckily not anymore.

The air had been a little crispy with the sky highlighting the beautiful creatures covered in hues.

It was a perfect day to hang out with her fiance, as she could relax well after the tiring day at work.

So thought Jing Xi, as she parked her car in front of the duplex her fiance lived in. She smiled as she thought of it as her future home. She had always longed for a husband of her own after her mother passed away, and she thought she found her Mr right in Fang Li.

Jing Xi inserted her key into the lock and with no time the gate opened and she passed through the small entrance.

She thought of driving in but she decided against it, and so she entered inside the compound.

At the left side of the compound was a black sports car that Feng Li liked to use and she immediately guessed that he was inside. She had wanted to surprise him with her presence and so she did not inform him of her impending visit.

She brought the spare key that Feng Li had given to her in case she wanted to cook for him, and she inserted it through the hole and it opened.

The living room was silent like there was no one inside, and a pin would be heard if it happened to fall on the ground.

But she knew he was inside because of his car, and she walked the stairs to his room. It was then that she started hearing some panting and she shook her head. She had warned Feng Li of watching porns but he never listened, she knew she had to give him a hard time this time.

Disgust filled her as she stared at her friend's shameless body, but she averted her eyes to look at Feng Li instead. She didn't want to engage in a fistfight with the stupid Ying Bao.
