Rematch: Jason vs Gajeel

(Third Person POV)

Jason looked at Gajeel, "Oh you wanna do this?" He asked

Gajeel proceeded to crack his knuckles, "Oh yea." He said seriously, "I'm going to beat you to a pulp." 

Jason sighed and crossed his arms, "Alright then." He said, "I think this will be a proper opportunity to try this magic out." 

Levy and Pantherlily both stepped to the side as they looked at them 

"You guys...." Levy said, "We don't have time for this...." 

Lily nodded, "Levy's right." He said, "We came to investigate the eclipsed darkness that Lucy told us about. To have a fight is purely ridiculous." 

Gajeel looked at Jason, "You ready?" He asked

Jason nodded, "Ready when you are." 

In an instant, Gajeel lunged at Jason rearing his fist back for a punch. Jason raised his arms to block the punch that Gajeel so obviously telegraphed, but instead of a Punch, Gajeel shifted his weight at the last minute and threw a kick, hitting Jason in the stomach and sent him reeling a couple of feet back. 

"Hm." Jason said as he patted his stomach, "Cool." 

Without warning, Gajeel had followed up with another attack. 

"Iron Dragon's Pole!!!" 

He fired the iron pole straight at Jason's face, who merely sidestepped to avoid the attack. 

Gajeel narrowed his eyes and retracted the pole back as he looked at Jason. 

'His reaction time is fast.' Gajeel thought to himself, 'And his body is tough, he shrugged that kick of mine off like it was nothing. This won't be easy. I have to take this up a notch if I wanna beat him to a pulp.' 

Jason then appeared in front of Gajeel, which surprised the dragon slayer. In an instant, Jason hit Gajeel with several straight punches that hit Gajeel all over his body and face. 

"Gahh!" Gajeel grunted as he was sent reeling back

Jason lunged past him as he grabbed Gajeel by his shirt, then in a quick motion, swung him on his head hard on the ground. 

The throw was strong enough to crack the ground, creating a shockwave that even surprised Levy and Lily. 

Jason took a step back as Gajeel stood right back up, as if he wasn't badly hurt by the throw. He then went for a punch as Jason easily blocked the blow. 

Gajeel, who had his hand reinforced with iron, was taken aback at how easily Jason blocked the punch without showing any signs of pain. 

Jason gave Gajeel a smirk, "Not bad." He said, "Your punches do have some weight to them. I wonder if you can take my punch, though..." 

Jason's then emmitted a crimson aura, signaling his Obliteration Style has activated. 

"Obliteration Style: True Fist." 

Jason punched Gajeel straight in the chest, hitting him with a True Damage enhanced punch that sent Gajeel flying back. Gajeel crashed into a tree, breaking it in half and fell on the ground as the tree collapsed into the ground as well. 

Lily widened his eyes, "Gajeel!!!" 

Levy, who had her mouth covered, also looked at this with shock. 

"Guys, stop it!!" She exclaimed

Jason then rubbed his wrists as he looked at the cloud of dust. 

"Hm." He said, "Quite the tough iron...." 

Gajeel stood up and dispersed the cloud of dust. He was covered in iron scales, his chest having a slight dent and some cracks in it. 

He wiped off some blood from his mouth as he looked at Jason. 

"Tch." He said, "This is nothing." 

Gajeel then lunged at Jason again, but before he reached him, he jumped up in the air, rearing his left arm back. 

"Iron Dragon's Sword!!!" 

Gajeel's arm turned into a massive serrated blade, which was his signature move. He was ready to swing the sword at Jason, with the intent to cut him up. 

Jason merely looked up at this. 

"Fall." 

Suddenly, as if an invisible force caused this, Gajeel crashed straight down to the ground. The crash was so strong that it caused a massive shockwave and a massive crater that shattered the earth. 

Levy widened her eyes, "What the...." She said, "What just happened??"

"Gajeel suddenly fell..." Lily said in awe

Gajeel tried to get up, struggling greatly as he looked up at Jason. 

"What....my body feels heavy...." He said, "What is this...." 

Jason tilted his head slightly, "Interesting.." He said as he snapped his fingers

Gajeel then widened his eyes, he realized his body was no longer heavy. In an instant, without wasting any time, he lunged at Jason and tried to strike him with his Iron Dragon Sword. 

As he swung, the blade stopped itself in midair, almost a foot away from Jason. 

"What the hell?!" Gajeel exclaimed as Jason stood there

It's as if there was an invisible barrier between Gajeel and Jason. The Iron Dragon Slayer was confused as to what it was, since he didn't notice any sort of magical barrier present. No matter how hard he tried, he could not move his sword past the invisible force. 

Jason placed his hand on his chin, "Hm...." He said, "That's as close as I can do it....." 

He then snapped his fingers again. 

Gajeel was then sent flying back as a massive shockwave was erupted from where Jason was standing. 

Gajeel crashed into the ground hard. He then got on his knees and looked at where Jason was standing. He was still confused on what was happening. 

"What the hell are you doing?" He growled

Jason shrugged, "My new magic." He said, "Gravity God Slayer Magic." 

Gajeel widened his eyes, "What?" 

Jason nodded, "Yea." He said, "I told you I was going to test this out. It is quite odd. Possibly the most complex of my God Slayer arsenal." 

"Arsenal?" Lily who was on the side with Levy said, "He has more?!"

Levy nodded, "Lucy and Gray mentioned something like that." She said, "He's grown considerably stronger than the first time we met him." 

Gajeel stood up, "Gravity Magic, huh?" He said, "No wonder you were able to force me down....."

Jason then pointed his palm at Gajeel. 

In an instant, Gajeel was forced down onto his knees by a massive pressure. Jason was using Gravity to do this, but Gajeel noticed something was wrong. 

"Wh-What the hell is this?!" Gajeel exclaimed as he was buckled over, "This isn't regular Gravity magic!!" 

"No shit, buddy." Jason said, "This is Gravity God Slayer Magic. Vastly superior than your normal gravity magic." 

Gajeel looked at him, "My whole body feels heavier...." He managed, "And a massive pressure of gravity is forcing me down..." 

Jason then lowered his arm down, releasing the spell. Gajeel exhaled, out of relief as he almost keeled over. 

"Gravity...." Jason said, "It adds weight to objects with mass...." 

Gajeel then looked at Jason who was looking away as he spoke. 

"If I am to carefully control my gravity, I can basically add more weight....." Jason continued, "In a way of speaking, I can control the mass....to an extent...." 

Jason readied a stance, but he seemed like wasn't paying attention to Gajeel at all. This ticked the dragon slayer off as he straightened up and rubbed his forearm. 

"Why you...." He growled

Jason who still wasn't paying attention to Gajeel was still talking to himself. 

"I can't use the gravity to engulf it on my limbs like normal slayer type magic..." Jason said as he looked down in deep thought, "But.....if I were to add weight...or 'Mass' to my body.....and control it's weight.....adding mass without the weight...by controlling my own gravity....essentially controlling and manipulating....so this is Gravity God Slayer Magic...interesting....." 

Gajeel then glared at him, "Oi..." He said, "Quit yapping to yerself!!"

He then lunged in a frustrated attempt to do some damage to Jason. 

Lily widened his eyes, "Gajeel, no, it's a trap!!!!" He yelled 

Gajeel threw a punch to Jason, who moved his head out of the way. The dragon slayer widened his eyes as he noticed a change in Jason's aura as if the air around him got heavier. 

Jason then immediately countered with a punch to Gajeel's chest, on the same spot he hit earlier. This time, the entirety of Gajeel's iron scale were instantly chattered as Gajeel's eyes went white, blood spewing out of his mouth. 

"Gravity God's Fist." 

Jason's punch sent Gajeel flying back to the ground, crashing hard into it, creating a massive shockwave. 

"G-Gajeel!!!" Lily exclaimed

Gajeel, who was hit by a devastating punch, was barely able to get up to his knees. 

"What..." He panted as blood came out of his mouth, "What the hell was that? That punch was the heaviest thing that has ever hit me...." 

Jason straightened up, "Exactly." He said, "It's not perfected....but oh well...." 

"Gravity God's Presence."

Suddenly, a massive wave of gravity hit the entire area where Jason and Gajeel stood, forcing the iron dragon slayer to the ground. The majority of the ground was shattered as Jason stood there, unfazed by the gravity. 

"What the...." Gajeel exclaimed, "I....can't.....move..." 

"So this is the most I can do....." Jason said, "Exerting a wave of gravity this strong, strong enough to force someone like Gajeel down.....interesting....." 

Gajeel looked up at Jason who had his hand on his chin again. 

"I can use the gravity as a barrier to prevent any physical attack....." Jason said, "I can also use it as a strong shockwave to send things flying...I can use it to add 'Mass' to my punches.....Interesting....this magic isn't half bad...." 

Gajeel struggled to even move, his blood beginning to boil. 

"You...." He managed, "Bastard....underestimating me...." 

Gajeel then began to emit an black and shadowy aura. 

Jason noticed this, "Huh?" 

"I'll teach ya not to underestimate me, you fucking asshole!!!" Gajeel growled

Suddenly, he disappeared. Jason blinked, the wave of gravity was still in effect, he wasn't sure as to what had happened. 

Then, it clicked. 

"Oh shi-" He started 

But it was too late. 

He was already struck in the face by an iron pole engulfed in shadows. The attack sent him reeling back as it broke his concentration, dispelling the gravity spell. 

Jason rubbed his cheek as he looked in front of him, Gajeel covered in iron scales that was releasing shadows. His eyes were giving off a sinister purple glow. 

"Huh..." He said

Levy and Lily both looked at this in awe. They hadn't seen Gajeel use this form since his fight with Rogue back when Fairy Tail and Sabertooth underwent the competitive but friendly "War Games." 

"He used it..." Levy said

"Yea..." Lily said

"Iron Shadow Dragon Mode." 

Jason raised an eyebrow, "A fused elemental dragon slayer mode?" He said, "That's quite something." 

"I don't like using this fucking mode." Gajeel stated, "But it's the only thing that'll counter your gravity."

Jason nodded, "Yea." He said, "I suppose turning into a shadow will allow you to move within my gravity.....hm...I guess Gravity God Slayer Magic is a strong counter to you, being an Iron Dragon and all.....it adds mass to you.....interesting...." 

Gajeel gritted his teeth, "Shut the fuck up." He growled

He disappeared, turning into a shadow, and lunged at Jason. 

Jason, who knew that he turned into a shadow, was appalled by this. He had already had a brief skirmish with Rogue, the Shadow Dragon Slayer, but something about watching Gajeel use this mode was really surreal to him. 

Gajeel then appeared next to Jason, hitting him with a shadow-enhanced kick. The blow was strong enough to send Jason reeling back. 

Jason noticed that the kick bruised his arm, which he had used to block the attack.

"Hm..." He said, "Your attacks are stronger." 

Without saying a word, Gajeel had appeared behind Jason, and was readying a breath attack. 

"Oh, looking to end it?" Jason said

"Iron Shadow Dragon's Roar!!!!" 

Jason was then instantly hit with a massive stream of iron and shadows that dwarfed him. The attack covered him entirely and resulted in a massive explosion of iron shards and shadows, causing a massive shockwave that hit Lily and Levy and almost sent them flying back. 

Gajeel, who was still in his Iron Shadow mode, panted slightly as he saw the massive cloud of dust slowly disappear. 

"Well...." Jason's voice was heard

Gajeel widened his eyes, "What the?!?!" 

As the dust cleared, Jason was able to be seen. His clothes were tattered, there were many cuts and bruises all over his body, but overall, he seemed fine. 

"That was quite the attack." Jason said, "But it'll take more than that to bring me down." 

Gajeel then raised his arm as it turned into a massive serrated blade, trying to use the same move as before. This time, he engulfed his iron dragon sword with shadows. 

"I'll finish you off with this." Gajeel growled

Jason sighed, "I suppose that using my Gravity God Slayer magic forced you to use this mode." He said, "If I used something else, you'd probably performed better. But at the end of the day, you wouldn't be able to beat me. You still need more training, BlackSteel Gajeel." 

Gajeel then lunged at Jason, readying his sword back as he prepared for an attack. 

"Iron Shadow Dragon's Sword!!!!" 

Gajeel swung his blade at Jason who stopped it with both of his bare hands. 

"I do wonder..." Jason said as he let out a black aura, "If your shadows are black..." 

He then opened his mouth as he took a massive chomp off of Gajeel's sword. 

"W-What?!?!" Gajeel exclaimed

He then jumped back, away from Jason who had already sucked in the shadows along with a massive chunk of his iron. 

"Can I eat-" Jason started before he covered his mouth

Jason then clutched his stomach as he began to belch. Gajeel noticed something was wrong with him. 

"This is my chance!" Gajeel said as he reared both his hands back

Gajeel then swung his arms, sending several shadow-enhanced poles flying towards Jason, acting as spears. 

Jason, who was still covering his mouth, saw this. Then, in an instant, opened his mouth. 

"Great Devour." 

Suddenly, all of the shadow-enhanced poles were sucked in by Jason's mouth as he devoured them. 

Gajeel widened his eyes, "That's impossible!!!" He exclaimed, "He can't eat my iron!!" 

Jason, covered his mouth again, as he began belching again. His body then began to pulsate again as he released a massive aura. 

Lily and Levy both looked at this with a shocked face. 

"What is he doing??" Lily asked

"I-I don't know...." Levy said

Jason then collapsed on his knees as he began to throw up a strange and dark liquid, giving off a nasty sulfuric stench. 

Gajeel, who noticed his magic power was fluctuating, took a step back. He also smelled something weird, metallic, coming from Jason's body. 

"What the hell...." Gajeel said as Jason's body released a much darker aura

Jason, then looked up at Gajeel, his left eye turned completely black, and only his iris were bright white. 

"Heh." Jason said as his voice was much deeper and baritone, "Never expected this...." 

Suddenly, Jason's arm turned pitch black, giving off a chrome metallic glow. 

Gajeel widened his eyes, he instantly recognized what that was. 

"That's impossible." He said, "No way...." 

Jason stood up as he began to rub his neck. 

"Oh." His voice back to normal, "Now this is crazy." 

He looked at his arm, which had turned into an obsidian colored metal. He then gave Gajeel a wicked smirk. 

"How do you like this?" Jason said, "This is the birth of a new Magic." 

"Steel God Slayer Magic."
